Just home from a long weekend in Manchester where we stayed in the Ibis Styles Hotel in Portland.”
The hotel was perfectly located for trams, buses and trains which were all in walking distance. The shops and nightlife was also within walking distance. The hotel was welcoming, clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and helpful; the bar staff made great cocktails!! The bedroom was cosy and the beds were very comfortable. We would certainly recommend this hotel and we will certainly be back for another stay in the Ibis Styles Hotel.

Really a nice place”
Excellent location just 5 minutes walk from Picadilly train station and opposite of the city centre. Rooms decoration are trendy and very clean, staff are very polite and helpful. A good start at Manchester.

Comfortable, spotlessly clean, central location. All good for our brief stay in Manchester. Great vfm too! Breakfast was great as well. Quirky decor!

Very friendly staff”
Check in time was 2pm. As we had lots of luggage with us, we stopped by around 11am to find out if we could drop our luggage first. The staff told us that we could actually check in straight away as the rooms were already available. Fantastic service!

Good and comfy stay”
Had a pleasant stay for one night. Hotel room is spacious and comfortable. Agoda had not sent through the payment and front desk quickly called the relevant parties to confirm my payment and checked me in asap. Thank you for that. Loved the hotel’s location and it is around great eateries too.

Brilliant stay! Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was small but clean. We arrived to the hotel an hour before check in as was going to use the luggage room to store our cases while we went out but instead we were told that they could sort our room early. The man on reception also helped with getting a taxi and even gave us an umbrella!

A warm welcome”
A last minute booking after getting stung by late plane arrival meant no train home due to planned strike- a lovely guy on reception, a clean and very quiet room with a very comfy bed and walking distance to a great range of eateries!
