The hotel was modern, clean, and the hotel staff very friendly. The location was absolutely ideal, i.e., adjacent to the Viktualienmarkt which you can see from your hotel room.... if your room is on the street side. The windows also do a great job at keeping the noise out. The only part that was not enjoyable was the bed, i.e., too hard. It would be great if the hotel could add a few inch thick memory foam topper to each bed, perhaps upon request from hotel guests. This being said, all in all, an excellent hotel and we would definitely stay again..

It was our first time in Munich and certainly not our last. Living Hotel was in the perfect location. We walked everywhere. The rooms, while small, were updated, clean and modern. The staff was helpful and friendly. I will stay at Living Hotel each time I am in Munich. Highly recommend!

Very cozy, modern and clean hotel in perfect location”
Love the cozy ambience of the modern rooms. Location was just across Viktualienmarkt, less than 5 minutes walk to Marienplatz. Very friendly and personalized reception service. Room comes with free beer, coffee and water.

We stayed here for 4 days and it was a great stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and very thoughtful. The hotel room is good size with sufficient storage space and a very nice bathroom that is modern and everything works well (water pressure, temperature). The hotel also has a really high quality breakfast - one price with cold continental breakfast and hot cooked Bavarian favorites and a barista coffee included. Not the usual black filter brew that hotels tend to serve. The hotel is served by multiple transport options (subway, tram, bus) and most of the sights are walking distance. Lots of food options around, Bavarian beer halls, the viktualien market at the doorstep and many international options too.

Great location truly nice hotel ”
Pros: 1- convenient location right in the heart of downtown and main attractions 2- value for the money 3- excellent staff Cons: The air-condition is OK but it doesn’t cool the room like an AC should be .

This hotel is located right in the Viktualmarket. We had room for three and it was large and nice. Staff was helpful and always eager to make your stay wonderful. Can't go wrong staying at this hotel when in Munich.

Excellent location. Clean, modern, friendly. Agoda's description is inaccurate.”
Agoda's site implies that the "deluxe" rooms at this hotel have kitchenettes. That is not so. Only the "business" rooms offer kitchenettes. Agoda's site also implies that double rooms can have one double bed or two twin beds. That is also not true. It was disappointing to learn of these inaccuracies in Agoda's description of the hotel. The hotel itself is lovely: modern, pleasant, beautiful rooms, working AC, and an unbeatable location. Breakfast is very good. I would recommend it to anyone who does not need separate beds or a kitchenette.

Location location. Great staff very helpful. We had lighting issue in our room they would not turn off, got moved to another room to sleep. Although nothing else was offered for the inconvenience at Midnight. I had to ask if they would give us breakfast for the inconvenience which they did. Tip to anyone when checking in make sure the lights turn off as they are all computer controlled using a panel on the wall no switches to be seen.

Great hotel in a great location next to the market and the old town. Surrounded by great restaurants and pubs. Rooms are spacious and very high tech.

We stayed at new wing. The rooms were very modern, nice and clean. Unfortunately the airconditioner wasn’t really working. We called the front desk and they gave us portable Aircons to use. Very good service .

Room is modern but small”
Clean but room is small with weird configuration. But location is really good. Right beside the market. Too bad, the room faces inside so the window faces the corridor, have to draw the curtains all the time for privacy issues. Staff not entirely friendly, just professional. For single traveller, the room size is fine but for couple, a bit small let alone is family

Broken air conditioning during heat wave”
The hotel is in a great location, and the staff was nice. But the air conditioning wasn't working in my room during a heatwave, making it hard to sleep. They gave me a fan the next day, which helped. I would've expected better for the price.

They gave us room 514 in the annex building behind the main one. The door of the bathroom doesn't close and the hot water ends after the 1st minute of shower
