Great hotel”
Stopped here a couple of times now and it's an excellent hotel, no complaints only that the floor boards in the room creaked! Not a big issue, breakfast is spot on and the location is brilliant, top marks!

Great place to rest and relax in the city centre”
Very pleasant check in, great food in the main restaurant for both supper and breakfast. Everyone very polite and efficient. Restaurant manager a little over-zealous and felt ticked off for not booking a table for supper, even though the restaurant was not busy. I’m afraid it didn’t occur to me, for a Wednesday evening......😁

Quick check in and staff very helpful and friendly. Bed is comfy and very spacious.

Overall the stay was good.. as the main reason is the proximity of the hotel to the bars/ shops ”
Unfortunately the only thing that was up standards was the king size bed.. the mattress was so soft it really hurt my all night resulting in not being able to sleep. I continued to suffer from bad back all day.. (had to take pain killers) The hotel itself was good.. all the staff were friendly/ restaurant staff for breakfast were very attentive. However breakfast itself wasn’t good.. a lot of the juices had finished not refilled, we ordered 1 full English breakfast my boyfriend wasn’t impressed with portion size.. of the food given. I went for veggie full breakfast which was ok.. again portions were small of 1 sausage/I egg/ tiny harsh brown/ mushroom under cooked.. But I would return again but wouldn’t stay for breakfast and request a double bed in future in hope the mattress is of better standard.

Professional and close to all amenities ”
Hotel was excellently place near train station and city centre. Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms clean and large. The breakfast area, bar and restaurant were bright and well stocked.

Great location but ???”
When we booked we specifically requested a quiet room as we had an early flight next morning . On arrival told check in had been altered to 3.00 rather than 2.00 as advertised . Realised throughout the night our allocated ‘quiet’ room was directly over a late night club/ bar ..so very little sleep ….not happy customers and will stick to Premier Inn ..at least they read your requests and half the price.

We enjoyed enormously our stay at the Burlington Hotel. Overall very quiet and welcoming.

Freezing room disgusting breakfast and blocked bath ”
I paid for the issac Horton suite and it was freezing I had to gi and get a heater from reception which did not help, the bath became blocked after 1 shower and green water cane out of it . The breakfast was disgusting stale bread and undercooked pink meat when I specifically asked for it to be well done because I cannt eat rare meat due to medical reasons . I was told the manager would email me but she hasn't this isnt acceptable

Just cross the tram line on exiting the station and there’s the hotel! Staff were efficient and helpful. Only problem we had was the parking, the car park said we needed the app to get the hotel’s discount rate but reception need not know this.

Great central hotel with character ”
Room was clean and large and well decorated with nexpresso coffee naked. Great shower. Comfortable bed. Very central and 2 mins from station. You use the station car park for £10 a night if driving. Only downside was slightly noisy as near resturants and pubs but really not too bad after midnight

Lovely building and fantastic location but. My shower on the evening didn’t work very well. My shower in the morning was cold. The heating system was so noisy it woke my up through the night. The breakfast was quite over priced at £15. I’m afraid I’d consider other places to stay sorry.

Comfortable and historical hotel”
Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. The breakfast is lovely too. Would definitely stay here again.

So loud at night ”
If you're a light sleeper you need earplugs as you will get car horns and drunken people shouting all night.

Problem with Heating...”
The room - overall - was clean, spacious and aesthetically pleasing. My only problem was with heating. In the middle of the night, I woke up freezing and had to walk down to reception to ask for a portable heater (because reception did not pick up the phone when I dialled from the landline found in my room).
