Stayed at Gleneagles twice and Drumossie three times.........the rooms are more comfortable at Drumossie, Drumossie is not quite as fancy a hotel BUT everything is a high spec,everything works there is NOTHING broken in the rooms....very comfortable....we WILL be back.

Quiet relaxing location”

Front desk staff were mostly cheerful and welcoming. Hotel was quiet when we were there. It cost £10 with tip to get back from town centre. Room was clean and comfortable enough. Lots of parking spaces and easy to get in and out of, if you don't need to be near town centre. We did not try the restaurant as the choices were limited and it was pricey as well compared to town restaurants.

Nice hotel with good food”

Quiet location but still close enough to the city centre. Very nice rooms en very good food. One of the negative points was that there was no dressing in the room which ment that we had to leave our clothes in our suite case. There was also no hair dryer in the room. But apart from these two littel points we enjoyed our stay in the hotel.

Hotel with charm!”

As soon as you enter the driveway and parking lot, you know that you have arrived at a special place with plenty of history and grounds. The check-in was easy, though write down your license #. Free parking. Room size was large in comparison to most European standards. We had a small sitting area (two wing chairs) near the bed. The bathroom was stunning: Marble everywhere from floor to wall. Nice fluffy towels. As with most European hotels, it does not supply body lotion or the face (small) towels. However, I was surprised to find a box containing shower cap.

Beautiful hotel ”

The staff were great and I was there for a wedding. The food and service was amazing. The location is ideal for those wanting to be near the golf course castle Stuart and near the airport both just a 10 minute drive. Beautiful gardens to walk round and lovely places around to visit. Culloden moor is only a few miles away. The breakfast was fantastic.

Sumptious overnight accommoation”

We only stayed overnight arriving quite late at 9.00pm and leaving the following morning at 9.00am. We did not have breakfast as was on a room only rate and the breakfast is a little overpriced in my opinion. We did want to have a coffee in the room before we left however there was only one cup (but 2 saucers!) so we didn't bother in the end. When I informed the receptionist on leaving she didn't seem that bothered and did not apologise for any inconvenience which was a real shame and left me leaving the hotel less than impressed. The hotel itself and the rooms are lovely. It was almost as if we were the only residents on 28 December (which may have been the case) as we did not see anyone apart from the receptionist between arriving and departing apart from a waiter who we asked if we could have a coffee. I did find it strange that there is no bar to sit in and as the hotel was so quiet it lacked any kind of atmosphere and felt like we were intruding but I'm sure is not the case during normal times of the year.

Drumossie Hotel Inverness”

The hotel has an excellent location, good parking and pleasant garden grounds. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there were plenty of people on hand to deal efficiently with the function meal. I may be little behind the times but I felt that £5 for a bottle of fizzy water was hefty.Wines & spirits were on a par for price. Overall however,a nice place to stay.

Cet hotel est situé un peu loin de la ville mais il est tres confortable, les chambres sont spacieuses et tres propres. Le personnel est acccueillant, le restaurant est de qualité, la cuisine servis est tres bonne.

La dimensione del letto matrimoniale era ridotta. Sembrava poco più di una piazza e mezzo. Comunque nonostante il letto fosse piccolo per due persone, era comodo. La colazione era ottima, variegata e abbondante. La cena al ristorante è stata fantastica. Il risotto era uno dei migliori che avessimo mai mangiato e anche la carne era fenomenale. Anche il personale è stato molto gentile e disponibile. Carina l’idea anche di fornire il giornale in camera al mattino. Tuttavia non mi spiego il prezzo della camera, decisamente troppo alto.
