Good location but loud street noice all night”
Good location to connect trains stay overnight after work. Lively busy center with loud street noice all night through dawn. Self check-in /out student hall type. Never seen / tried plastic mattress! No lift but carry luggage via narrow steps.

No staff but everything layed out do easy to check in and out. Very noisy at night because located in club land but I expected this. Bathroom was fine and there was a towel and some toiletries provided which I didn't expect.

Door entry was difficult as didn't receive the email required. Message should have been sent previous day. Wasn't impressed with the plastic covered mattress - difficult to regulate temperature - I was either too hot or too cold. Reception on some of the TV channels kept breaking up. A guy who implied he was a staff member said I was using the wrong kitchen (for staff only) although there was no signage indicating this. Hostel was surprisingly quiet given that it was very close to lots of bars and nightclubs. No worse than other hostels I've stayed in - apart from the mattress.

Not appropriate stay for work purposes”
I stayed at Oliver house over a Sunday and Monday night due to working in the city. I did get the code for the door on time and my room was ready. However, the noise outside from the bars and night clubs lasted until 3am in the morning so sleep quality was exceptionally poor. There are rooms not overlooking the street why not use them? Also the bathrooms on Sunday were very dirty with used towels over the floor. The facilities for cooking were also minimal. OK for a night out at the weekend and that is about all.

Cheap price for basic room”
Well. There is no reception there. I got email from agoda.com 2 hours before my arrival with information how to het inside the Oliver house. There is an 4 digital code outside the house. I was wondering how I got inside if I didnt get this instruction and code from Agoda.

Noisy, Uncomfortable and Unacceptably Dirty”
The bin in the room hadnt been emptied from the previous guest and I wasnt actually sure the room had been cleaned and the bed changed. The bathroom cleanliness was poor. The staff I met werent really helpful. The Bed was so uncomfortable I barely slept and in combination with the noise from the clubs this experience was hurrendous. On the plus if you are looking to party, you cannot beat the location. I had come up for a charity event the following day and wish I hadn't I would have had a more pleasant time (and more sleep) if I had woken up at 3am to travel.
