Great hotel I stay there 4-5 times every year. However Agoda app failed as it booked me a room with 2 single beds when I actually booked a double. It did the same for my other booking in April.

Adequate for my needs but not good value for money. Not all lights worked, bed moved across the floor when I tried to get in, room generally very tired.

Perfect budget break”

Brilliant price, great location! Rooms were spacious and the shower was really good. Staff were so welcoming and friendly and were able to check us in early which was great! Would highly recommend this hotel. About 15 min walk to the city centre (over the millennium bridge) but can pretty much get an Uber to anywhere in the city for 3-5£ so getting around really isn’t a problem! Took about 15 mins from the airport to the hotel and cost £15 in an Uber, didn’t bother with the metro as it takes longer and not desirable with luggage as there is a bit of a walk from Gateshead station (10 mins). Thanks so much for having us and making our New Years Eve brilliant!

I checked in then dashed off to a couple of meetings without going to the room. Upon completion of my meetings, I went to the room to find the bed unmade and towels on floor of bathroom. First time I've ever seen this in any hotel I've been to. Was put into a different room in a reasonable time but I did notice no apology was offered. Also had to call twice after my stay for a tax receipt. On the plus side, location was good and room was a decent size. I probably would consider staying there again as I can forgive, what I am going to assume, was an unfortunate occurrence with the room not being ready when I went to it, as my stay was fine.

Arrival was good, nice parking area although the overspill has some DEEP potholes and an electric barrier for some peace of mind. What I dont like is the charge for parking which is £5 but why? I've paid quite a bit to stay for 6 nights and then there is that charge. Restaurant is really good and I though fairly priced considering your paying a premium in a hotel. Room was clean but after a couple days I realised although house keeping had been in they didnt change the sheets, in my 6 nights there I think the sheets were changed once but I'm still unsure of that still. Duvet cover had dirty marks on which were there the whole time. I wont be back again which is disappointing as I've stayed at quite a few ramada hotels and never had this issue before.

Just accross the river from the Quayside across the Millenium Bridge and the Sunday quayside market. Handy but quiet. Enjoyed our stay

Concert one night break”

Very good location, especially for visiting the Sage or Baltic Museum. Friendly staff and breakfast very good value

An excellent choice of hotel because of proximity to The Sage, The Baltic and the Millenium Bridge which made access to the centre of Newcastle very easy. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, particularly Jenny and Sam who made sure we had a good table at beakfast and took the trouble to bring us the extra items we needed for our 8 year old granddaughter.

Just remember this is a budget hotel with no frill whatsoever. Bed was very soft and dipped in the middle. Breakfast was excellent. Great location for the Sage.

Hotel was spot on,easy access to all Newcastle via bridge which was a minute walk,and the sage is next door for any concert goers.only issue was on booking with Agoda it said breakfast included,when reading the confirmation it says it isn't,didn't find out until we went and had to pay,but s good stay anywsy

The location is a little bit far from the train station and city center. The room is just ok. The staff in the dining area were rude. They shouted at me if I were a guest?!! Wow they were not guest oriented people! Can’t they just simply ask my room number instead?!! Better go to asian hotels or any Philippine hotels and they will learn how to smile, be courteous and helpful to their guest...

A good nights sleep”

On arrival we were a little early but we relaxed in the bar until check in time. The hotel was in the early stages of a refurb, considering this there was not very much disruption. The room was clean and the bed was comfy the breakfast was not advertised very well, but were not early eaters so it wasn’t a problem. The location of the hotel was great just minutes walk from the Sage and Gateshead shops. Newcastle not too far away either just the other side of the Millennium bridge. Hotel great for a cheap get away not too far away from either town.

Expected more from Ramada ”

Good pressure from the shower was the only highlight of this stay. Room was a little dirty with paper and wrappers under the bed. Carpark is charged and tv didn’t work on arrival.

DISSAPOINTING!!”

Booked a king room for 1 night. Arrived and they did not have my booking. Was given the wrong room twice. Restaurant service was diabolical with the excuse given was that my meal was frozen. Table next to us was served 20 minutes before us!! £5 extra for parking.

Excellent Location”

Great hotel - friendly inviting staff. Room was lovely - clean and comfortable. Great Location for venues such as Sage, Arena, Quayside etc. Food was excellent too and late checkout was a bonus :-)
