A little pricey for the standard of the room the beds definitely need replacing along with the hall carpets that have seen there days out and almost coursed me to break my neck a few times but other than this The staff was all very polite and accommodating would make a beautiful hotel if these few things was corrected .

Lovely friendly staff ”

We enjoyed our stay in Liverpool. Hotel was what we expected. Problem with our first room but got upgraded so was really pleased. Room was lovely and clean only things that let it down was scruffy hallway carpet and only 1 lift working. But even that wouldn't put us of staying there.

Nice hotel and staff but bad room ”

The room had no wifi access, half the plugs didn’t work and there was a really loud flushing sound every 30 mins. I’ve stayed in this hotel a few times before and had no issues, must’ve pulled the short straw with the room.

A joke ”

1st room had urine all over the toilet seat plus a broken bed, 2nd room the lights didn’t work plus no cups to make a brew, 3rd room broken wardrobe no towels or iron . Then after coming back from our night out we was locked out of our room on the 4th floor after already walking back and to because of the room

Unhappy with room ”

Room was disgustingly covered in bird poo on our ‘balcony’ so much so we were unable to get use out of it which we paid an additional premium to upgrade too. On top of this our sink in kitchen area was blocked for full two days leaving an awful smell in the room and on the last day the full bathroom completely flooded due to there being blockages in drains. I spoke to hotel management who assured me I would hear from him with regards to what he is going to do for me and unfortunately he has failed to make any point of contact we also asked staff to replace towels on the first night and did not get given any and were forgotten about. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement as I explained I myself am a travel agent I certainly won’t be recommending this hotel to anyone as although it’s lovely in lobby area the hotel goes down hill from there. I will be now need to contact hotel myself again to chase this which I shouldn’t need to do I explained we were there for a special occasion hence why we paid extra to upgrade room and it is nothing like what they advertise online.

Cleanliness”

Cleanliness was a massive issue...especially in light of Covid-19 protocols...but even normally they wouldn't have been satisfactory.

Hotel was dirty, light broken in the hall meant we had to leave our room in pitch black. ”

No toilet roll or tea bags. We asked for more but didn’t get. Filthy carpet in the room. Cobwebs everywhere in the balcony. Shower was broken. The room stunk of damp.

Very good value- recommend ”

This hotel has spacious, clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff and is ideally situated for the centre of Liverpool. We opted not to have the breakfast which saved some money and allowed us to visit various cafes nearby. It's only a short walk to shops, restaurants and many tourist attractions.

Underwhelming ”

This hotel has recently been opened up to the homeless of Liverpool which is a very good thing I just think other guests should be made aware of this before being asked to pay over the odds for rooms which are at best adequate. Nothing like they used to be. Also there is a active building site 10 feet from the balcony we paid extra for and nobody mentioned this at time of booking

Clean & friendly”

clean & staff are friendly & eager to help. Bar area is lovely & spaced out for social distancing, only downside was the new track & trace system wasnt very confidential & left ot for all to see your details. But we will be booking & staying again soon.

The building is fantastic, but let down by the other guests”

The building itself Is spectacular. Although it would appear it was being used by many homeless and drug users. I couldn't go out for a cigerette without witnessing drug use, alcohol use, being pestered for a cig or change by other hotel users. My room was nice, could use some refurbishment with burnt carpet and multiple cracked tiles in the bathroom. I stayed for two nights and was supplied with 2 normal coffee and 2 decaf. The first night I asked reception for more coffee I was told there was none there ask in the morning. I asked in the morning I was given 2 coffee and 2 sugar but told there was no milk. The reception women appeared that she really didn't want to be there... The nght before I left I ran out of toilet paper, was left in the room with only 1 roll and when asked at reception I was told nonewas available as you can imagine that was diabolical as I couldn't use the toilet during the nght or morning. Parking was a whole other issue. Badly explained, cost 37 pound for 2da

....broken, ie cracked bathroom tiles, broken taps. Very clean an comfortable and staff were very friendly and professional.
