    Great location and opposite a pub with a beer garden; had a good meal here on the first night. Breakfasts were excellent at the farmhouse; ordered the night before and ready at the time we requested.
    There wasn&#39;t anything that we didn&#39;t like; we made a great choice in staying at the Swinside Farmhouse.

    A cosy , comfortable well...”

    The cooked breakfast and the vegetarian cooked breakfast were excellent, Jo the proprietor gave a warm welcome and was helpful an informative.
    The only thing that detracted from an otherwise perfect stay was that there was no drinking water in the room.

    Really comfortable room. Excellent size bathroom. Access to lounge. Fabulous breakfast and great hostess. Great pub just over the road . Fantastic spot to access some of the best hill walking.

    Quiet place only 3 miles from Keswick .Friendly host and great breakfast . Lovely cosy room very clean with little extras in bathroom .

    Enjoyed a lovely overnight stay in a rural Lakeland setting. Very comfortable room, friendly host, excellent choice for breakfast. Would highly recommend.

    A couple of days before i was due to travel, they asked if we would like to book a table at the locle pub. This was great service. The breakfest was very good.
