Relaxing, fun and emotional, a wonderful place to take a holiday.”

This was our second visit to Tangle Tower having stayed there last year as well. And this visit was just as amazing as our last. It is clean, comfortable and a fun place to stay, with wonderful views. Near to the centre of Inverness, with nice walks and a chance to spot some wildlife. And we cannot thank Cherry enough for going that extra mile for us, with a few extra requests. Highly recommended holiday home. We will definitely be booking again.

A place to chill”

The property was just so comfy, so much so that we found it difficult to leave. Beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Beautiful views over the Moray Firth from every floor at the back of the property, with the very top floor probably being the best place to admire the views with a good book in hand, and maybe a tipple in the other. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone who needs to chill out, and who appreciates breathtaking scenery. Tangle Tower is only a short 10 minute ride into town, should you wish to leave the car behind in the evening to eat at one of the many good restaurants in Inverness.

Remarkable building steeped in history”

This is an amazing property in many ways. Lots of history and great views of Moray Firth. Well appointed, everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Lounge of top floor has wonderful views and very comfortable. Cherry is an excellent host.

Fabulous property in a great location we will be back.”

The property has the best views of any property I can remember. The beds and linens were excellent and the location was lovely and quiet. The property had options for sleeping and sightseeing it was a very short trip into the centre of Inverness. The local wildlife makes it a must if you enjoy birdwatching and otter spotting.
Leaving. If I was pushed the bath tap had the noisiest air lock ever so we gave up on the bath. The shower made up for this. I let the property owner know about this.

Lovely quirky house”

Only 30 minutes walk from the shops. Quiet location on the shore. House is lovely and the beds very comfy. Superb upstairs viewing room which my teenage son had as a bedroom, using the sofa bed. Everything was there and the host was easily contactable and very friendly. Would recommend if you like something a bit different. Brilliant for us, far better than staying in a hotel 👍🏻

Amazing facilities - perfect location and the lemon cake was divine! We were brilliantly located for all the places we visited; Findhorn Beach, Dunrobin Castle and Landmark Forest Adventure Park. The most beautiful views across the firth, felt like being a part of nature each time we looked out. Beautifully designed and decorated place to stay, very homely but special at the same time

Fantastic views over the water. Lovely character to the building. Everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Host even had Christmas decorations up for us (very nice touch).

Lovely place. Great views and location was handy for town centre and for touring centre. Best holiday rental we have had and we have had many. Would definitely recommend. We will definitely be back.
Only one toilet.
