It’s easy to walk into the city. There are local shops and a good pub The Churchill a couple of doors away. Good clean room with tea and coffee, breakfast included which was good. Parking available. Reasonably priced Host very helpful

Great guest house”

Stayed in a single room was at top of the guest house six flights of stairs, room was small but functional there was hair dryer iron small ironing boarding in room. Also had a electric tower fan as well as tea making facilities. Breakfast was very good due to covid had to prebook time slot on arrival. Was a short ten minute walk in to the centre of York. Arrived early and my room was ready. Would stay here again.

the room was lovely just needed cleaning a little better ,toothpaste on floor , tv little , breakfast was ok fekt like it was microwaved nit very warm, area is great just out of the town , lively dough shop next door .

Friendly staff well run and clean hotel. Still few covid restrictions were u have to book a time for breakfast, but that didnt taint it. 3rd time we have stopped there and never had a bad time yet

Clean and tidy guesthouse. Perfectly situated close to the centre of York. Breakfast was served at a time to suit us. Would definitely stay again 😊

Absolutely great”

I'm an American traveling with my English boyfriend and this place is absolutely lovely! Its an older repuposed house so it has tons of character, the staff is so friendly and kind, as well as the room was way more contemporary and modern than I would have thought! It was a very very great experience and it was close to everything! 100% recommend to anyone.

Great location! Less than a 10 minute walk to town. Was given a parking permit to park on the street and room came with breakfast. Basic en-suite double room - clean. Can’t beat the location and price. Would stay again.

Great B & B”

We found the staff to be really helpful, the room was clean and came with everything we needed. Closer to the town than we expected only 5 mins. The fully cooked English breakfast was piping hot and came with a tray of toast with jams, tea/coffee was very good which was in the price along with free parking. We will definitely return to this B & B.

Very welsoming. Pleasant owners and staff. Cleann and tidy. Ideal postion - 10 minutes walk from Town Centre and all tourist sites.Facilities very good - free wifi, shower/bath/kettle and tea/coffee etc Please note though no lift for higher rooms for first stay, already arranging second stay!
