Great hotel, so close to transport Recommended! ”
Hotel just round the corner from the back,Moorfields, entrance to the Moorfields Railway station. (If travelling by train from elsewhere, book a ticket to "Liverpool Stations", you don't pay extra for the subway to here.) Compact room: very comfy bed, tea/ coffee, bottle of wate, hairdryer, great TV with Sky, Aircon, good sized shower/ toilet area, although separated from sleeping area by frosted glass. . Very comfortable, although personally I would only book this particular room as a solo traveller. Bed is up against window and pole vaulting partner to use the bathroom during the night doesn't appeal! I would opt for bigger room if not alone. It's worth it, and if you book early, very reasonable. Breakfast at £7.50, booked on arrival, very good-gives you checkout at 12.30 rather than 11. Complimentary wine and cheese 5-8 pm with fresh bread,oatcakes, cheeses, grapes, olives, relishes excellent! Staff great and they checked my ID on re-entry after 1am. Reassuring to solo traveller.

All hotel was spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly. Nice breakfast bap in the morning with cereals and toast etc.. Rooms very modern and have everything you need. Although there was only 1 plug socket in our room. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Liverpool Only downside was the lift. One lift for guests (not allowed to use stairs) so could be waiting a while for it or going up and down a few times before getting to the ground floor.

I loved the hotel. Very clean, great view, good facilities. I tried the iron facilties and they delivered the iron table to my room for free. And also the free luggage storage. If I visit Liverpool again definitely I will stay there.

Lovely hotel and room”
We were very impressed with the Z hotel. The complimentary wine and cheese was a lovely surprise. Our room was clean and spacious. There was a lift which helps with heavy suitcases. Car parking very close and only £8 for 24 hours

Excellent Hotel”
This hotel was recommended by a friend. We stayed there as a 'staycation' with friends who had travelled from the Philippines and Vietnam for the Christmas break. The room was excellent, clean and tidy, spacious (we booked a Queen room) with excellent views of Liverpool City and the Liver buildings. It is also in an excellent location - within walking distance of all central attractions. The complimentary Cheese and Wine from 5-8 was an excellent bonus. Highly recommend for a short stay in the city. We were so impressed with the Z Hotel that we have booked to stay in the London Branch at the end of January.

Excellent choice for city centre stay”
This was my second stay at z hotel, and it will be my first choice for future Liverpool trips too. It's a modern hotel with nice rooms, a good choice of in-room TV channels (sky sports) and the location is perfect (2 minute walk to the high street). They also provide free wine a cheese every night, which was great. Can't fault them at all, excellent hotel!

Z Hotel Liverpool is amazing value for money in the heart of Liverpool - right next to the Cavern quarter.The room was very nice - very clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly.Would definitely stay again.

As soon as walked in the hotel It smelt lovely. The Staff was very Welcoming. Who said we had complimentary drink & cheese & biscuits. Wow. Room was lovely and location was central . was A excellent stay. Defo go back to Z hotels. 10/10

Perfect for a short break !”
I've stayed at this hotel on a few occasions and I have to say the staff, location and rooms are just about perfect. Such a well thought out hotel, which maximises space and offers a 1st class service. They even had large umbrella's on hand when it was raining. They offer Cheese and Wine to their guests (evenings during 5-8pm) and is one of the customer friendly places I've stayed at. There may be more luxurious hotels out there, with bigger rooms and more extravagant décor BUT if you want a hotel to use as a city centre base, and want excellent customer service, this hotel ticks all the boxes

I had a great quiet nights sleep. You get what you pay for, clean, small but functional room which works for an overnight stay for a couple or several nights for a singleton based purely on the room size. Staff were friendly and efficient and the location very convenient. Cheese and wine a nice touch too.I would definitely use the chain again.

10 mins walk from the cental bus station. Room is small but still comfortable for a quick stay. However, the bathroom doors and walls were made from blurry glass (NOT transparent, but blurry) instead of just concrete walls. Made it a bit uncomfortable. Staffs were very friendly. Overall, it's a good place and recommended :)

Hotel was in a central location with cheap parking (Moorefield) a few minutes walk away. Staff were pleasant. Hotel room was clean. Bonus when you have sky in your hotel room.

Would be okay for one person”
Lovely and clean room with a good layout. However I would have expected a Queen room to be more fit for 2 people. Instead we found there was only a single plug socket and the bed was against a wall. So if you're just doing a night or two on your own it's ideal but for couples maybe go a larger room or somewhere else.

Apart from no pool/no gym, everything else is good! Only 7-8 min walk to One Liverpool shopping area, 5-min walk to nearest underground station. I walked to all places of interest from hotel and also walked back to hotel from all these sites; Liverpool isn’t big and Z Hotel’s strategic location allows you to do so. The room I stayed in was only 108sf and I couldn’t believe that I still saw space due to excellent space planning. Modern toilet fittings. Nice toiletries packaging! Kettle, tea, coffee and endless bottles of water were provided. 5-8pm Happy Hour : free cheese & wine. I paid no more than S$60. Unbelievable!

Fabulous central location but not too noisy at night. Close proximity to shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. Kindly upgraded our room. Staff were very helpful. Comfortable stay.

Pros Great location clean and tidy. Cons Can be over priced for rooms. Shower room didn't drain properly and the breakfast is poor for the price and also cold. Go for breakfast else where.
