Good for a short stay”
Given that it is a relatively simple hotel, Schumann is a good choice mostly for solo travellers. There is breakfast served everyday, though it is the same each time so one might get bored after the first few days. There are shops nearby (such as an Aldi) that you can visit if any items are needed and have been forgotten on your trip, such as toiletries. The room itself is decent, as long as you aren't expecting a 5 star layout. There is a closet, but no safe, and there is no bathtub in the bathroom. Location wise, it is rather straightforward to get to (basically take the U74 to Holthausen from the Central Station), but it is located towards the Southern end of the city so it is a little farther away than a few of the other hotels you might come across during your search for a place to stay. Overall, if you are planning to stay for a week or less, this hotel is a good choice!

A very nice lovely hotel”
It was my return visit to stay with this hotel again. It gives me a good feeling every time when I stay there. This visit, I stayed there for 6 nights! Room is standard as expectation. Bed and pillow are good and sleep very comfortable. Shower and toilet are clean. Breakfast is good and quite variety on the buffet. Nearby there are lot of shops/supermarkets. To get in the city, I used U74 that is in front off hotel (which ticket machine also there too). In overall, I am really satisfied for my stay there.

My returning to stay at Schumann”
Have been staying in this hotel many times already. Hotel is in a good location, not in city but at Holthausen. There is a tram just a few steps from hotel door, which you can use it into city so easily. Room is basic function but clean and tidy. Bathroom is large and clean too. Staff is really nice and helpful. Overall, I give 5 stars to this hotel.

Super freundliches Personal!”
Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Anfragen per MAil wurden super schnell beantwortet, wir konnten ganz in der Nähre kostenfrei parken. Unsere Tochter durfte sogar schon vorzeitig unser Zimmer beziehen, da sie wg. einer Verletzung nicht an dem vorgesehenen Programm teilnehmen konnte. Super nett!!!

Direkt an der Ubahn Station daher sehr praktisch wenn man ohne Auto in die Stadt will. Familienzimmer groß aber nachts laut von der Straße. Und wir wurden von Stechmücken förmlich aufgefressen. Als günstige Übernachtung ok

We hebben voor 5 personen geboekt en uren lang bezig om een extra bed te regelen maar helaas niks, ontbijt was ook slecht. Agoda gebeld voor een refund omdat we hadden afgesproken dat mijn kids zouden een bed delen daarvoor zouden we ontbijt gratis krijgen ,maar ik moest de receipt emailen en ik zou mijn held terug krijgen,maar nu hele gedoe, dat ik geen geld terug krijgt. Dus nooit meer en ik raad miemand ook
