Great place to stay”
It is very clean, staff are friendly. Self catering a facility well stocked (equipment), there is no hob, but there is an electric oven and microwave. It is very close to Bath city centre, only 20 min walk which we could easily master even with young kids. Bus on the way back (as there is hill). We enjoyed our stay

Excellent location though having more info on how to catch the bus there would have helped. Clean. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast with friendly chef. Beautiful views. Good facilities. Loved my stay.

Perfect for our group”
The staff were lovely and welcoming on our arrival and the room was modern and clean. The facilities were fantastic and the view over the city was spectacular at night. As a family group of 4 adults (parents with older teen children) this was an ideal and cost effective way to visit Bath. It is a rather long and steep walk up the hill to the hostel but there are regular buses and taxis available.

Nice place to stay, clean and nice staff but their location was too hard for parking. All cars must be parked beside the main road

Hi, Thank you for this review. We are glad you enjoyed our location. Although we only have accessible parking on site, you are welcome to park for free on the main road at the bottom of our drive way a couple of minutes from the hostel. You are also welcome to drive up to load and unload any luggage.

Lovely hostel in an old mansion”
Lovely and enjoying stay with good , clean and sufficient facilities. The minor lack to be no TV at common dinning aeea as the plaster on top under repair.

Hi, Thank you for this review. We only have blue badge holder parking on site. However it is free of charge to park on the main road at the end of our driveway.
Great place but far”
The hostel is really nice, the house is beautiful as the park. Share toilett were always clean as kitchen. Kitchen has no fires, but you can cook on the ovens. Location is a problem if you are on budget and chose to walk as all the way is uphill, all.

Our kitchen does not have hobs (hotplates) however does have ovens and microwaves. We are out of the city centre, so if you do not feel like the walk you can use the regular U1 bus service. We hope to see you again on another occasion.

Careful while driving up to hotel at night ”
Nice old building & nice big room but tiny bathroom. There is no lift so had to carry luggages up 2 floors! There is no onsite parking, only street side parking and by time we reached hotel, we had to park very far away. Easy to miss the hotel if driving at night, super steep and tight road leading to hotel. Be careful

Beautiful YHA, great staff but steep driveway”
Great building on a nice quiet hill. The driveway up from entrance sign to actual building is quite steep and enough only for 1 car to navigate. There’s no parking on site so if there’s lots of luggage, drive up to drop luggage and then drive back out to on street free parking. Rooms were spacious for 5. There were activities organised for kids on Halloween which was great. New kettles in kitchen needed as most were rusty and not so clean

The hostel is located on the middle of the hill heading to the university of Bath. There is a bus station in front of the hostel, taking 10 minutes to the city centre, super convenient! Moreover, It is a quiet and lovely place. I booked a twin room with shared bathrooms and what I got was really surprising to me. I was on the 2nd floor with a large room containing 3 bunk beds. There was only me in such a great room! The Room was very comfortable and clean. Even the bathroom was still being cleaned. Unfortunately, I had to carry my heavy luggage upstairs since there is no elevator there. That's not a problem for me. However, I would definitely recommend this place and go back next time I am visiting Bath.

Very good. A tasteful building, a good location. It's a bit far from the center, but you can walk while looking at the beautiful scenery.
