Excellent location attached to a Toby carvery with internal access. Great transport system to get around birmingham. Hotel clean , needs upgrading but perfectly ideal for a short stay. The staff were very helpful, especially Caron on reception and the young man on Saturday evening late night

Hotel was clean and had great cleaning staff same as for Toby staff very good and helpful. However our room had huge crack through the ceiling and constantly was in my mind of worry 😟overall I would recommend staying there.

Overnight for airport”
A reasonable hotel for a night before flying although you will have to add around £25 if travelling by taxi. The road outside is noisy though when I mentioned this I was told I could ask for a quieter one in future. Staff were excellent: friendly and helpful. Plus options nearby like M&S for food.

I was a bit dubious about booking this after reading some reviews-this place was up to the normal travel lodge standards.the only issue which spoilt it was the fire alarm going off at 11.20pm -very annoying as false alarm and had to evacuate the building when I had to get up at 4pm for an early flight

Stayed at room 108. Too noisy as it is next to the receipt that people passing around. Should have put some sort of noise isolation for that room

Very nice hotel for the price paid. Very comfy beds, towel and refreshments top up was also spot on. One negative is the association with the Toby Carvery (Wheatsheaf) which does Travelodge no favours with their average food and fairly unreliable opening times. No reflection whatsoever on Travelodge but I fear many will assume guilt by association. Chose not to eat evening meals at all at Wheatsheaf and on 3 occasions was unable to get a breakfast as they hadn't opened!! Travelodge, however, I was very happy with for the price I paid 😊

Very basic hotel”
Room was clean, a little on the small side with paper thin walls. Our room was located next to a very busy road and traffic noise could be heard, which also meant we couldn’t open the windows. The bed was also a little to firm for us.

I stoped one night and the room was good value. There was some road noise but I did get a good nights sleep which was needed. I would recommend the hotel at £38 a night.

I've stayed in other travel Lodge close to international airports and have found it comfortable, clean and high standard. At Sheldon, the location is perfect to get in and out of town; the surrounding amenities are great with shops etc - however, the services at the hotel were not the best. The room was tidy but the floor wasnt clean; the shower set up in poorly structured - any movement and your body touches the shower curtain. The walls are are thing that the couple next door early hour sex could be heard all over the room.
