                  Excellent position & close to all facilities required, including good value long stay car park. This could be the reason why facilities such as own car park, bar & restaurant not that important hotel facilities. Main drawback is lack of storage in the room, just an open hanging space, which could be a problem for long stays (we stayed 3 nights). However the comfort of the room was very good.

                  Above and beyond service”

                  Booked through an online site fully expecting there to be on site parking as I had a bootload of stock. When I checked in I was told there wasn't on site parking and would have to use nearby local site - not an option with contents of car so I said I'd look and see what else was available in the area. The lovely blond receptionist from Blackpool (sorry didn't get your name) offered a solution to get the stock in from the car and into a secure area for the night which saved me hunting around for another hotel which was really appreciated. Travelodge I hope you know what a fantastic member of staff you have

                  Everything about the stay was great apart from being able to smell cigarette smoke as we walked down the corridor coming from other guests rooms- horrible and worrying in terms of potential fire risk

                  Stayed for 1 night so was pleased the Travelodge was very central to beach and shops. We parked our car in Morrisons at a reasonable £3.49 for 24 hours and only 5 minutes walk to the Travelodge. Nice quiet room.
