Won’t hesitate to stay again”
Only stopped for a nights stay travelling London to Inverness. Reached about 11 pm, staff was really courteous. Rooms are clean, though the ceiling could do with a bit of TLC. Breakfast in the wee cafeteria was good as well. Value for money for sure. Parking is a bit tight, if you have a 4*4 or suv there is no way you can park it inside. Best option then is to look for spaces in the parking outside or on street which is a wee walk away : but the are after dark is a bit shady.

What a difference”
Having stayed here several times and always good value for money. However the place was a little tired and rough at the edges . Someone has noticed and the hotel has had a significant upgrade. So now greater value and a really nice place to stay.

Cheap and cheerful”
Great hotel for the price, fits the bill when just needing a quick place to stay for the night. Second time I've stayed here and both times it's been clean and pretty quiet. The only downside really is the car park with there being so many poles it's crazy but hey ho I haven't banged one yet lol

Excellent”
The only problem I had was that the windows wouldn't shut properly, so it was rather draughty. Apart from that it was OK.

Quiet room”
When booking I requested a quiet room unfortunately they gave us a room facing a busy road. Luckily for us we had no bedside light so the young lady moved us to the back of the hotel where it was lovely & quiet. I'm not sure why they couldn't have done that in the first place.

Oh so cold”
The location was perfect, John R on reception was more than perfect unfortunately that's where the perfection ends. There was no hot water, John informed us that the boiler broke days ago but had been repaired, clearly not completely. The breakfast was also cold and not worth £8.75 I'd advise to go to a local cafe. However, John did treat us with the utmost courtesy and dealt with our complaints amicably.

Adequate”
Central with parking and friendly staff. Room was adequate for our needs but very basic with a lingering odour. There Is no hair dryer but I was able to borrow one from reception. Hand wash and shower gel dispensers empty. There is a lidl directly opposite so you can stock up and Any essentials you may have forgotten and bakery is perfect for breakfast. Once I had bought air freshener and anti bac wipes I was happy with room. Shower is fabulous very powerful.

Housekeeping ”
The stay here was dreadful. Payed for late checkout so we could get a lie in and not have to wake up early but housekeeping staff were so loud and obnoxious couldn’t let me or my partner sleep. They had no consideration for any other person and were laughing and talking as loud as they could.

Above average”
The travelodge was dated and the hallways smelt strongly of cigarette smoke. It’s one of the more dated branches I’ve been to. The car park was ridiculous, poles everywhere meaning you needed to reverse and inch forward and reverse again to move in any direction.
