The hotel is just mainly for the locals. This hotel does not deserve 3 stars as the door in the bathroom malfunctions, making the operation really hard. Furthermore, the room is dirty and a bit old. In addition to that, the staff is not so friendly and professional as if they does not focus on their duty.

Good Stay at Mismo”
The overall stay experience at Mismo was excellent save for the initial part where we checked in and the front desk staff wanted to hold on to all 6 of our passports for registration and only willing to hand the passports back to us to the next morning. They stated that it was per the hotel's rules and regulation, but we can't find that "rule" anywhere, so to us, Luckily we had a Vietnamese who travelled alongside with us, and after 15 mins of tussle agreed to photocopy our passports and return us the originals. The front desk definitely needs more training to leave the correct first impression on guests who are using the hotel. Luckily all 3 rooms, and great breakfast served every morning delivered great joy to us. Some of our companions felt the bed was a little too hard but it wasn't a problem for me. Overall this is a great for value hotel, and if you want to experience a different kind of Vietnam, away from the hustle and bustle of District 1, then this is your choice hotel. I will come back to this hotel on my next trip.

New Hotel, Karaoke and Massage Not Ready”
This hotel is new. I booked the Superior Double room on Agoda. It's very spacious with Ceiling to Floor windows on 2 sides so you can see the city below. Literally the entire wall is the window. My only complaint about this room is the huge column in the middle of the room. It takes away from the spaciousness of the room. The AC will have more difficulty cooling the room during the day because of the heat coming through the large window walls. They have karaoke facilities on the L floor, but the operating hours are 6pm-10pm. They have massage facilities but it's not open yet. The massage beds still had shrink wrap on them. There's coffee and tea making facilities in the room. There's not much to do walking distance from the hotel. Not a whole lot of nightlife. Turn right from the hotel, walk 2-3 blocks and you'll find a massage place that closes at 4am. Across the street from the hotel on the corner that's a large sign that says "Massage, Billiards, Karaoke 100 meters" but it led to nowhere. Turn left from the hotel and walk a block, there's a large outdoor restaurant/beer garden that looks like it might be popular. I needed to work over the internet and the wifi was spotty so I plugged in a cable into the router in the hallway. The reception watches the hallway cameras like a hawk and immediately sent someone over. I explained to them the wifi was spotty and I needed to work so that's why I plugged in the cable just for one night so they let me do it. I don't understand why people design new hotels with telephone ports, cable ports, electrical outlets, but no internet/ethernet ports in the room. The breakfast was a la carte, not a buffet like most 3 star hotels. Room Tip: Get the Superior Double Room. It's a lot more spacious than the standard room.

The distance to district 1 and neighboring districts was quite the drive”
Not exactly certain, but I believe it has been at least a year and a half ago since this place opened, and they still haven't received their approval to open the spa/massage side of business. We got the room with a view of a neighboring worned building, so nothing special, but definitely quiet. The windows are from floor to ceiling, BUT they are narrow with equally wide concrete sections in between. Room size was okay, bathroom was good size. The bed, I have never slept on a bed this firm before in my entire life. Breakfast limits you to one dish and ine drink. Nothing to really complaint, but worth noting as most other hotels had buffet tables. Location was quite far from district 1, 3, and 5, whre most of the fun and great eateries that we were use to, so travelling back and forth was quite hassle. Easily 40-45 minutes drive to district 1, and tack on another 15-20 during rush hour. @20-25 minutes to airport. Overall, the hotel was a nice quiet stay. The distance and lack of the spa/massage amenity was my only qualm.

My stay here wasn't as great as I wish it could've been. The female receptionists were a bit unprofessional and unwelcoming which is a major turn off for anyone. (It wouldn't hurt to have a fake smile on since it's all about customer service). The male staff were definitely a bit more friendly and were more willingly ready to help us which made it a bit easier. The location was far from everything which made it really costly to get around. The only pro I could think of for this hotel was how modernized it is compared to it's surrounding Go Vap hotels. If you don't have family at this end of Go Vap then I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless they improve their hospitality.

Disgusted and disappointed during our stay !!!”
On our first night, we moved to a three different rooms because the hotel's air conditioner were faulty. Temperature inside the rooms was unbearable. They moved us on the next day to room that had an air conditioner working properly but another problem pop-out. We were deprived of our sleep because of the hotel's karaoke and especially the neighborhood's karaoke, played loud and annoying music until 4:30 A.M. We stayed at the hotel for a couple more days hoping the situation will improve but it did not. We made a request to be moved to a quieter room and for us to be moved, we will have to up grade. We decided to check out and the hotel management penalized and charged us an extra night for checking out early from the number of days we reserved. Recommend Triip Mismo Airport Hotel to my friends??? YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING !!!

Pros: pretty close to my relatives, cons: far from Saigon city center. Nearby restaurants and food street vendors are pluses, staff is courteous and very helpful. Karaoke is little noisy, but I live at fourth floor, so it's ok.

Not As Advertised ”
This hotel is not near the airport. It takes 20-40 minutes in a taxi. Also, the facilities advertised on their website aren't available. No karaoke room, bar as pictured, or massage/spa available. The website is so misleading that I actually looked it up to be sure I was at the right address. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and willing to try to communicate. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, and will not stay there in the future.

- I booked for higher floor room but they insisted I stay on 3rd floor. That was alright until I found out they put me there to please some Chinese tourist and I find that offence since they treated foreigner but denied their own countryman. Shame! - The bathroom is old and smelly. - The pillow is old and uncomfortable, my neck is hurt in the morning. - The price is pretty fine but I don't understand the quality goes down after each time I book. I will give it another chance next time and hope I was wrong about the national racism

Helpful staff, functional hotel in a non touristic area where a business traceler might stay near his place to work or of meeting. On high floor you have a good all around view, however caused by the full windows construction the rooms get very warm and you have to use the aircon too much.

Not my first time here. Surprised to be put in the same room again. Air-con was unstable. Sometimes cold, sometimes warm. The breakfast is not buffet style which is not a problem. but they only serve 1 drink. I have to pay for a 2nd coffee which is about VND40,000 (not exactly cheap). Not a big issue, but it will be nice if the hotel can provide free-flow coffee for breakfast... :)

Room is comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet can be improved. We had 3 days there and found that some of the food like bread and fruits, and even coffee and tea were not laid out in advance. Either understaffed or disorganized.
