So nice place”

This is the first time we have been to Tunis and have very good sympathy with the city, people and Tunisia Palace Hotel. The hotel is not new and comfortable but very clean. Friendly employee. In particular, I would like to send my thanks again to the manager of the restaurant, where we usually have breakfast here. He is too great. We will come back here if we have a chance.

+++ Excellent location near the medina and large choice for the breakfast buffet --- Not clean, bathroom is old style, broken toilet, the bin wasn't empty when we arrived, cigarette smell, woken up at 7AM on Sunday because they were shooting a movie in front of our doorstep, only one towel whereas we were 2 people, 70DT for airport transfer whereas a taxi costs 20DT, staff not very helpful for restaurants advice or to call taxi...

Gutes Personal, leckeres Frühstück, zentrale Lage”

Insgesamt war es recht gut. Man zeigte sich freundlich, geduldig, hilfsbereit, relativ professionell und das Bildungsniveau kam mir allgemein merklich höher vor, als beim letzten Strandurlaub in Hammamet. Die Lage ist sehr zentral: Man ist also gleich da. Dafür herrscht zumindest im August zeitweise Stau. Das Frühstück finde ich lecker und reich an Auswahl. Die Klimaanlage ist angenehm und lässt einen gut schlafen. Meinen Koffer würde ich nächstes Mal nicht mehr den ganzen Tag an der Rezeption stehen lassen, sondern ihn sobald das Zimmer verfügbar ist, liefern lassen. Man kann auch in Dinars wechseln. Sollte abends oder nachts dem Hotel das Bargeld ausgegangen sein, gibt es zum Beispiel auch entlang der Avenue Bourghiba (noch vor dem Uhrturm) den einen oder anderen Automaten, der Euro oder Dollars in Dinars wechselt. Tagsüber gibt es einige geöffnete Banken in der Nähe.

mooi oud maar gemoderniseerd”

het oude Hotel de France is helemaal hedendaags. Prijzig maar soms zeer voordelige aanbiedingen. Uitstekend ontbijt. Mooie kamers. Naast de medina gelegen. Parkeren op straat maar 24-uur bewaakt.
