BEST VALUE FOR MONEY HOTEL IN KOVALOM”
Excellent and convenient location to visit places. Staff efficient, reliable, friendly, caring, trustworthy and aware of customer care skills. working as one family unit assisting each other during high demand. UDS is the hotel to stay in Kovalom for relaxation with three swimming pools. Food delicious and catered for everyone. Diljith and Suresh in front office very helpful. Checkin and checkout very swift. Dinny is professional housemaid has talent of displaying towel creatures giving romantic feeling in the refreshed room after day out. Uday Hotel 5***** Agoda* ”
When I arrived at the hotel at 5am, the hotel were not expecting me but as I carried receipts of payment, I was shown to my room quickly. The problem was Agoda, who I would not recommend. I would say the worse internet company I have ever had the misfortune to use. They had not informed the hotel of my payment. The room was clean but in need of updating. However, I was soon given another room, which was very large and superb, with all windows facing the sea. I did not eat at the hotel or use amenities but what sticks in my mind, was the high level helpfulness and friendliness of all staff. Well worth a visit. All my problems occurred booking with Agoda. The booking was a nightmare, as their grasp of English is poor or even zero. I will leave it there, as I want to move on.

I was there for a night with my wife and two kids aged 5 and 2, hoping to give them a feel of the beach and staying beside it,hearing the tide sounds on and off. But unfortunately the beach behind the property gets deep quite soon and felt it’s unsafe for kids, but they have a coastguard all the time, still they being small kids, wasn’t comfortable. Going to hawa beach from there by car each time,made my whole point of staying there in the hotel baseless. That being said, the property is a wonderful property with three lovely, well maintained pools and neatly managed rooms. The kids had a good time in pool though. The ambience was wonderful and had a good time during the stay. The food was excellent too. But for people hoping to spend time at the beach, this might not be a best choice.

Excellent Resort to stay in Kochi”
They have 3 swimming pools, private beach and good Breakfast/dinner menu. The Resort is also near Kovalam beach and light house. Airport is just 12 km away. Its most affordable 5 star property in Kochi. Swimming pool provides pool side bar where you can relax with your drinks and swim for leisure. Beach is bit rocky so you cant swim there but good for romantic walk early in the morning. Sunrise over Arabian Sea is stunning and if you choose your room wisely, you can witness it from your balcony. Overall its a good stay for me and my family for 2 days. Just a bit overcrowded though.

We got a room at top floor even though we had a infant baby with us. There was no lift from the 3rd floor to 4th floor. They should consider these priorities of one. No warm welcome or any welcome drinks were offered. But I must say the staff at the swastha restaurant were much courteous, polite, helpful and cheering, Really liked there services at the hotel. Although we know that 5 star hotels doesn't provide bucket as part of toiletries but since we had a infant baby we needed that, we called the reception and they just refused to provide it or help for any alternatives.

The property has an amazing lobby and location but the bed was horribly soft and we didn't sleep at all. The coffee shop didn't know to make hot chocolate. The pizza had uncooked tomatoes. The ac kept weeping water out. So ya fir that price it's a bad experience.

Not value for money”
It is 5 star hotel but I have stayed at better hotels and I don't consider this at par with other 5 star hotels. I booked deluxe room with large bed and they gave me rooms with separate beds, stains on bedsheet and quilt. Ac in my room was not working properly. After complaint they changed the room and then again AC in that room was fixed at 25. Next morning they changed room again, that was my two day stay here. It is located in front of beach. There are three swimming pools. Gym, steam and sauna are complimentary but they are ordinary. Nothing looks like a five star hotel. I have stayed in 4 star and found better than this.
