Great place for a stopover”
Clean and quiet room with a shared bathroom and living area. The parking is convenient and free. It was a 10min drive to the city. Would definitely stay there again

I wouldn’t stay again”
The bathroom was beyond filthy. The floor was covered in toothpaste, no toilet paper, the ceiling in the shower was falling apart, but and cob webs everywhere. The bed was comfortable but only one thin pillow and no warm blanket or doonah. Staff were friendly but when I checked in at 4.50pm my room still wasn’t ready.

Not again”
Check in and check out is a problem but the staff there are more than willing to help out. The closest restuarant is 15 min drive away.

Very basic, rundown and noisy”
I know you can’t expect much for the price - the room size is small but that’s fine, and the bed linen was clean. The showers are pretty rundown and a bit dirty, but the worst thing was the noise. Every door squeaks loudly and seemingly cannot be closed quietly. They seem to bang bangs shut. Every noise someone else makes reverberate around the place. Was woken the person in the room next door coming in at midnight and banging around, and up again at 6.30 to bang around some more before leaving and banging both doors on their the way out.

Too noisy and too cramped.”
Student accommodation with inconsiderate students partying, shouting and screaming all night until 5 am. Then they stand outside the window and talk in loud voices. The accom was a single room turned into a double by cramming a double bed up against the wall. Had to crawl out over partner to get up to pee.

Unclean and not nice people nearby”
The people who are staying here are of a bad demographic and cause trouble in the night. The place is unclean

Building 15 has no reception!”
The building they put you in has no mobile phone signal reception. It is in a deadzone. You have to go for a walk just to make a call. On top of that, the wifi isn't free. And they advertise that you need to pay for their wifi either

Acceptable”
Filthy floor . Disgusting. (Needs to be ripped up) Mould on most windows and showers. Bugs crawling around. The dishes and cutlery were still dirty , stains all over them was scared to use them. Also the bed sheets were stained and dirty also didn't want to use these. Dirty everything honestly I don't even think staff clean this place.

Scam: No wifi or phone reception”
Unilodge deliberately puts vistors in the furthest away rooms where there is no phone recption and they don't provide wifi either

Shocking and disgraceful”
First of all the check-in process was very long as the office was locked out and no instructions were available on how to deal with it. Then after I reached there I was informed that there was an additional $11 parking charge that was not listed anywhere. The immediately jacked up the price of the facility (if I call it that) After I got to the room I discovered that there was no heating / cooling in the rooms. It was dreadfully hot and stuffy in the room. In winters, I suppose it will be worse given how cold can Canberra get during that time. There were no maps or instructions in the room about dining options or safety requirements. The toilet seat was broken. For university of Canberra to charge what they do for a slightly better than a backpackers motel is unethical and I feel strongly that they were prying on poor overseas students to fall prey to this scam!!! Overall I felt it was a very bad experience.

Peaceful, comfortable, and enjoyable.”
I enjoyed my stay in the village though it is far from my conference venue. There are frequent buses going to the city and it is close to shopping centre. It is a good choice for living in a quiet place.
