Good breakfast, comfortable clean rooms. Location is in the middle of the museum area. However, it can be noisy in the street at night.

Location excellent. Don’t be fooled by modern vibe. The rooms are dark and gloomy. The bed and pillows are not comfortable. Also, there is a side street by hotel that was very noisy, this resulted in a room change. The bar on the roof is very small and people were being turned away due to lack of seating.

Definitely old and tired rooms. You could hear absolutely everything that was going on in the hotel and windows are not sound proof so had quite a bad nights sleep. We had a double superior and it had marks all the over the floor, the door handle on the bathroom was broken. The bed wasn’t a double, but two singles put together. We paid a lot of money for one night and left disappointed. Staff were amazing and the bar upstairs is good so not all negative but overall go elsewhere.

i have stay urban hotel for two nights and i am surprised by their excellent service. first of all, it is very close to puerta del sol, plaza de espana, palacio real, catedral de ntra. sra. de la almudena....so many many tourist points which you can go by walk...secondly, their service are simply excellent! very helpful. i have lost my room key at first night outside the hotel..and i report to the reception and willing to pay the replacement cost...and it is free...'no charges and it is just a card...' wow....i am really happy for my stay with urban hotel. it is my first choice in madrid. i definitely will stay there for my ongoing trip in madrid.

Best location in all of Madrid!”
I really chose the best hotel for my staying in Madrid. The location is actually only two blocks away from the Prado and closer to the city center than both the Westin Palace and the Ritz. Since most anyone visiting will be going to the restaurants and bars closer towards the city, this location is much more convenient. The service at the front desk is great as is the doorman. Everyone speaks English as well. Would go back next time! It's cheaper as well!

Lives up to its name "Top 10 hotels in Madrid'”
We were here to watch a Real Madrid soccer match. We checked in one day in advance to look around the city and collect the tickets. At first glance, the name Urban Hotel is a very ordinary name but later found out that it is one of the top 10 hotel in Madrid. We will stay at the hotel again the next time we come back.

This was our first trip to Madrid and had a wonderful time due to the advice/suggestions/assistance given to us by the Urban Hotel's friendly staff. We loved the roof but there always seemed to not be enough seats to accomodate the guests. Also, being in Spain it would have been much nicer if they had "afforable" cava to purchase/drink while sitting on the roof after a long day's sight-seeing.

Outstanding Hotel in Madrid City.”
We stayed at this beautiful hotel for 4 days. Almost no transportation needed to do shopping, meals or visiting Spain’s Museums. The staff are very helpful and friendly making us feeling secured in a busy city. The room is not big but comfortable for 2. It will be a perfect 5 stars hotel if kettle is provided and free wireless throughout the day instead of 1 hour each day.
