Exceptional!!! Made our holiday ❤️”
We have heard a lot about Phillipino friendliness and hospitality, yet we didn’t have a chance to experience until we came across Ursula’s Beach House. The owner and the staff were simply outstanding, went well out of their way to help us feel at home with a welcome drink. The food was the best we have tried during our 2-week stay in the Philippines, and on top of that we were provided with a cold towel on arrival and before every meal. Ursula had a first aid kit on site that we used in an emergency and we were given shampoo too. The tent was sent up directly on the beach. The ambiance in the evening drew people from neighbouring venues to Ursula. I wholeheartedly recommend it for a long or short-term stay. Thank you Ursula for such a lovely experience. Distant Paradise hotel”
Our stay at Ursula was awesome overall. Not all hotel stays have the same accommodations as Ursula resort. 24/7 electricity, wi-fi, and awesome hospitality. You wake up to a beautiful sunrise and to the sounds of the waves of the beach. The biggest pros were: HOSPITALITY. Nicest and most humble staff. They will coordinate everything for you. WIFI. Not all stays have wifi. Even the neighboring renters come here for the wifi. FOOD. Fantastic cooking!! There wasnt a dish we did not like. Food was sooo delicious even according to neighboring renters. Biggest and only con: LOCATION. You must take a 45-50 minute van ride to town where most of the tourist activity occurs. Its a P200 trip one way. The only silver lining is that you can coordinate this with staff to organize going to town. To return to the hotel you must take the 7-8pm van ride back to the hotel so if youre plan is to party in town, this might not be the spot for you. Overall, i highly recommend Ursula.

one of a kind experience”
The place was fantastic for couples or families who wants to experience the romantic quiet side of El Nido. Our hilltop room was amazing, we got a awesome view of the beach through the balcony. The food they serve in the restaurant was very yummy and not too expensive. But the best part of all was Kuya Dennis and team who made our trip very special through their genuine effort to help and assist us with everything. My partner and I are very happy with our stay. Salamat guys! See you soon

Absolutely amazing place with great restaurant”
We really didn't expect to find a place like this in the Philippines. Dennis is a great guy and guided us from El Nido and further on to Puerto Princesa. His place is great, with two clean bungalows and a hilltop room. As part of the place is a great restaurant, we usually like to try different places but the food was so good we instead spent our time eating through the entire menu. We'll definitely come back and make sure to book ourselves more time at Ursula's next time.

Marvelous view - Great Experience ”
Location is just perfect for those who need some solitary retreat. The beach is very picturesque and it starts as you step out of the porch. The room is clean and specious enough. The restaurant offers delicious food (many travelers came to have meals here). The staff is very friendly and helpful. They kindly let me keep my luggage and take a shower in even after the check out ( as I dove with Dive Sibaltan - which is right next to this estate, highly recommend). There are few things to be ready for: No hot water (but it is not cold outside) The shop is probably in the village (you can buy water in the restaurant) The beach is not very suitable for swimming (but great for the kite surfing/ relaxation/ meditation). I was very lucky to chose this place for the beginning of my journey. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Exceptional”
Located right on the beach, beautiful sunrises at your fingertips, clean rooms, great staff, delicious food, wind, kitesurfing and ... mango of course. What do you need more to be happy? I highly recommend that place.

Loved it”
The bungalow on the hill was perfect! You have your privacy, your own balcony and the view is just spectacular (and you can watch amazing sunsets from your bed). It is not the nicest beach; however, I would still come here and spend several days.

Wonderful experience and friendly, caring staff”
I rented the beachside bungalow for 3 nights. The proximity to the water can’t be beat, just step outside right into the sand! Simple accommodation, but it’s all you need since most of the time is spent outside. My bungalow was near the kitchen and office space, so there wasn’t much peace and quiet till about 10-1030pm, but I was fine with that. If you are really looking for privacy, spend the extra for the hilltop bungalow. Dennis and his staff (special shout out to Chester!) are wonderful. The service was all in the details, a welcome drink, cold towel at the end of the day, fresh flowers on the tables, water basin to rinse off sandy feet. And the food was delicious every time. Everyone raves about the banana pancakes for a reason! As for logistics, transport to and from Sibaltan was cheap and easy to arrange with Dennis. Jojo got me on an island hopping tour at the last minute. It’s also easy enough to look for more activities to do either with Dennis or Tapik resort next door.

Beach club : ok. Hotel: not so sure”
Pros: quiet place, beautiful sunrise and friendly staff. Cons: VERY VERY VERY far from el Nido. It is in another village, Sibaltan, in the north of the island, communicated with a bad road (1hr from El Nido Town). Furthermore, the van transfer they offer is so expensive. Second, they only have 3 cottages in the middle of the jungle, no much luxury. It was not a problem since we manage to be comfortable, but there is no room service (we didn’t want to clean our bed clothes, but it would be enough it the bed was made). The key doesn’t work so all our staff were not secured. Finally, our rate is not so bad since we like quiet places, but if you want to visit el nido Úrsula beach club is not the best place to do it.

Excellent!”
Dennis and his staff learned from the best hotels in the Philippines and apply it to their developing boutique hotel on the remote coast of Sibaltan. We enjoyed our stay! Keep it on.

Eveming noise of alternator is a bit disturbing in regards to the price you pay for the top cabin.

Lovely beach front place”
Amazing hospitality, the best place we stayed over three weeks in the Philippines. Dennis and his team really make an effort from the moment you step on the resort. Dennis is a local yet speaks perfect English and communication was excellent before arrival and during the stay. As for the food, it was always great and fresh. The restaurant is always full at dinner time as people from other guesthouses flock in; Dennis reserved a table for us every night as he will do for guests of his property... Can't recommend this place enough!

Stay elsewhere - ”
When we arrived dead tired after a snorkeling trip at 5PM, staff told us to wait another 30minutes as another couple was showering in our room. What the hell? Most disappointing however was that I had arranged with the POI the day before to have a "surprise" or something in the room to celebrate the anniversary with my bf. There wasnt anything,... but the fact that our room wasnt available. The beach is nice - the food is decent (Although the menu is extremely limited) but depending on the dish you take you get a decent portion. It's pricey too. The "beach front room" is a "restaurant front room" . Which also means you'll have noise until late, and as of 6AM -when guests leave for busses or breakfast,... The roof doesnt close, so you will have no privacy amidst all staf and guests. Definitely wouldn't recommend it to stay the night (Unless you have the hill top villa), surely not as a couple. But it's good to eat here.

Peace & Quiet”
This is by no means a convenient place, but Ursula's hospitality was the best in such limited conditions. Ursula is the best place for the discerning traveler to get some peace and quiet...

Best place to stay on El Nido!”
I honestly can’t recommend Ursula's enough. Me and my partner had the most amazing three night stay. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was the most delicious I have had in months (try the blackened tuna and garlic butter fish). The beach was beautiful (much better than the photos). We stayed in both the beach bungalows and the bungalow right at the top of the hill. I liked being on the beach for sunset walks and loved the bungalow on the top of the hill for the fantastic views and privacy. You can also easily rent kayaks and go diving if you want to. Also the beers and cocktails are delicious and really reasonable. This place is totally worth travelling the 40 minutes from the airport (Dennis the owner even organised transfers for us). Thanks to everyone at Ursula beach for an amazing stay :)

Wet dog smell in the room”
I have no issues with the staffs, in fact, they welcome us with wash towels and cold beverage. However, when we get into our room, the smell was awful! I even blamed my husband that he’s feet stinks so bad and later realize the room smells like wet dog that haven’t dried for a while. We didn’t say anything to the staffs as we don’t want to complain while we are in holiday. The staffs doesn’t seem to notice the smell maybe they’re use to the smell already. They have cute dogs, but all over the place. We booked 2 nights and paid for 2 nights but there’s no chance to cancel our 2nd night anymore coz the staffs doesn't have access to refund us. We end up leaving the place the next day as we can’t tolerate the smell anymore.

Great restaurant”
Dennis and his staff have put together a great place. Located near the village of Sibaltan, he has three rooms and a fantastic restaurant. I think the best room would be the one up on the hill. It is more private and quieter than the others and there is a great breeze at night. I would recommend contacting him ahead of time because it was full the entire time we were there and he had to turn people away. The beach is generally not so great for swimming as it takes a long time to get to the deeper water. There is a kite boarding school down the way. We took a private boat tour to a nearby island with seven other people and the cost was only 750 php per person. There was great swimming and snorkeling there--highly recommend. The lady next door also rents kayaks so you can take one of those to a small island off the beach and go swimming there.
