Ying and Yang ”
The open plan design offered little privacy or security as others climbing stairs and walking through to other rooms. Bedroom light with a timer switch was pointless as it needed to be constantly pushed on. The sensor lights in the rooms woke people up constantly. The traffic noise was horrendous. A local told me it's on a major thoroughfare through Valletta. The bathroom was filthy with guests not being able to help but trod water everywhere. It's a shame as the intentions were good, heading towards Eco Friendly however the reality is its not practical. I couldn't recommend it for a pleasant stay.

Il n y a pas de reception dans cette guest house, heureusement que la femme de menage etait la, pour m ouvrir, car il faut un code, que je n ai pas obtenu par internet !”
pas de reptionniste dans cette guest house , javais reserve un dortoir de 4 personnes et je me retrouve dans un dortoir de 8 personnes.... le code d entree m a ete donne par la femme de menage presente lors de mon arrivee. les lumieres automatiques s eteignent apres 1 minute dans le dortoir!!

９０秒の明かり点灯さえなければ満点です”
予約時にはわからなかったのですが、部屋の明かりが90秒で切れます。これはとても不便。本も読めないし、二段ベッドの上にいたら、いちいち降りてまたボタンを押しに行かねばなりません。それからセルフチェックインのキーが変更されていたので、困りました。誰もいないし、隣近所もタッチしていないし。メールして30分後にメール返信で新しいキーがきたのですが、そのときはメールに気づかず、どこかホテルはないか探し回りました。クリスマスだったので、どこも開いておらず、10分くらいのところにあるワインバーで、ｗｉｆｉを使って再予約しました。新しいキーがきて、再度室内に入れたという次第です。例によってライトの位置がわからず、入った時は真っ暗で、驚きました。場所はとてもよいし、安全だし、男女一緒部屋でも危険ではないので、ホテルの価格がとても高いマルタ・バレッタにあってはコストパフォーマンスもよいので、ドミトリーに慣れている人にはお勧めです。ダブルブッキングになりそうだったので、メールして最終日にお掃除にきた女性にも確認して、大丈夫でした。歴史的な建物をボランティア的に運営しているようなので、応援はしたいけれど、90秒の照明点灯が改善されなければ、ちょっと考えてしまいます。
