A Wonderful Honeymoon or Romantic Get-a-way Resort”
The Vellago Resort is everything you would want in a romantic beach getaway. It’s perfect for a honeymoon. The staff are wonderful and take extra care of all their guests special to Herwin, Abe, Angelo, Angelina, and of course Mr. Thomas. They truly want you to have a memorable experience. Fantastic beach, snorkeling, and kayaking location. And perhaps the best view in El Nido of the bay. A gem of a resort that you definitely don’t want to miss.

Great food! Great and helpful people! A great place to relax and do nothing. Various fish when snorkeling for its location at big lagoon! Never try to circle the island with kayaking because it’s too exhausted. We tried 1.5 hrs but haven’t reached half of the island~

Place is perfect and staff really helpful and friendly! if you want a quiet place and romantic dinner by the beach watching sunset this is your place. Your room opens to a balcony with a magnificent view of El Nido beach. Snorkeling right by the beach!

Best Resort for Honeymoon”
I would recommend this for couples on their honeymoon or anniversary. The location is at Seven Commandos Beach so you have to take a boat to town if you want to explore which is probably the only downside to this resort. But other than that, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The manager and the whole staff are friendly and accomodating and will set up your room every night for a romantic evening even without instructing them. The food, though quite expensive, was delicious and the menu was well-thought of for the vibe of the resort. You get what you pay for when you stay at Vellago. I most definitely will choose to stay here again if given the chance. ☺️

Wonderful vue ! Splendid atmosphere”
Nice accommodations (eco resort ) , nice and very helpful personnel. We enjoyed our stay and we surely recommend. Great food. Awesome vue and landscape. Price could be lower and adjusted considering lack of electrical power during the day. Beds could be bigger. In general we love it and we were very pleased.

An amazing place”
This resort is beautiful. The room was large and comfortable. The veranda has an incredible view of the sea and was a relaxing place to hang out. The manager, Nina, was extraordinarily professional in helping resolve some personal issues my friend and I were having. My only criticism is the limited boat service provided by the resort. The facility can only be accessed by boat and there are only 3 scheduled trips - 3 inbound and 3 outbound. If you want to go to or return from El Nido outside the schedule, you have to hire your own boat.

A very over-priced resort”
Me and my wife were on a honeymoon a few months ago and stayed for 3 nights in Vellago. The resort is really beautiful and has only six rooms, and the staff is very nice (too nice if you ask me), but very unprofessional. You must choose a few hours in advance when and what you would like to eat (because being spontaneous is out of the question in this resort). The room had very little privacy, and was EXTREMELY hot during most of the day and night because the air-condition is tiny for the rooms size. You will sweat. An employee came in to our room while we were in bed naked without knocking. Boat shuttle was late over two times. we were than asked to tell the staff in advance when we would like to get on the boat, which we did, and it was late again!! Dinner is insanely overpriced and not even good compared to what you get in the town's restaurants. It's ok, just not worth the money. And yes, you must eat dinner at the resort because the last boat is before the sun sets.

Very expensive for what we encountered ”
We splashed out for a luxury stay but were very disappointed with what we experienced. We were the only guests at the resort because the electricity had broken down & we were reliant on a generator for a few hours a day. Many food items on the limited menu were not available. The mosquitoes were intolerable! The one man on reception was a treasure tho & the saving grace of the resort. He looked after us like royalty & went above & beyond to create a romantic dinner setting - thank you ❤️

Best choice for a relaxing getaway!”
We cancelled our Maldives trip and decided to go to El Nido instead. I just read reviews about this resort and we were extremely happy we chose Vellago! The place is perfect for people like us who want a private and quite place. Food is very delicious! We love how the staff treated us. We were like VIPs, treated like their friend/family. I love how they put effort to check on our rooms always to fix the beddings and refill the water, coffee, tea, etc. Breakfast is served on our balconies and we have a romantic dinner by the beach every night! I will definitely go back soon! I already miss the breakfast by the balcony while enjoying the view and the beautiful sunset as well. I also miss their dogs - Brownie and Bella! Thank you, Vellago! Thank you, Jay and Herwin! Thumbs up to you guys!

Perfect getaway”
The Vellago is a lovely resort about 15 minutes boat ride from El Nido. It is on a beautiful secluded beach and it has a wonderful reef right off the shore which is great for snorkeling. The rooms are fabulous and it a small resort with only about 4 or 5 rooms in total. The staff are amazing and they went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was fabulous. They helped us with every request. The food is amazing and I totally recommend this resort.

Home away from home... Excellent view and staff ❤️”
Our stay at Vellago was nothing short of spectacular! By the time we left, we became a part of the Vellago family. Our room had a fantastic view of the islands and the sunsets are simply breathtaking! The staff went over and beyond to accommodate all our needs the moment we stepped on boat to take us to what I call a "beach treehouse" with modern amenities. ☺️ My favorite part? The personalized hot breakfast served in our balcony each morning at our preferred serving time with the most beautiful view of the ocean and Bacuit Bay. By far, THE ultimate breakfast view out all my travels! The owner, Thomas and his wife, the manager, Roy and their capable staff made our stay on the island something I will always treasure. Our last dinner was bittersweet... We, Harry & I, really appreciate all the effort you all put in to make everything extra special. Thank you so much for giving us an unforgettable stay! I highly recommend Vellago to friends and would be travellers. A taste of paradise awaits you! 🌴

Beautiful beach resort”
From the moment we booked our stay to the time we left the resort, the service was very commendable! Didn't want to leave! Loved the welcome drinks, loved the food, the room was amazing (I felt like I stepped in a high-end spa!), loved the day beds on the balcony, loved the fact that we were able to snorkel already on the beach front, loved everything! It was a plus for me that they tried to incorporate the true form of the cliff within the rooms. That rock in our room was something special, it felt like we were in a fabulous tree-house :) Just a suggestion to include insect-zappers by the balcony tho. Thanks, Jerra and the rest of Vellago staff for being amazing!
