Pros: Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was decent and decently priced. Location was near to the ferry. Facilities were a mixed bag. Cons: No wifi. Despite the listing saying there is wifi in every room there was no wifi when I was there. Staff tried to help me out and gave me a sim card to connect with my phone though. Beach is not really good for swimming. No hot water in the shower. Overall it's a mixed bag. I expected more considering the price of the hotel. The staff really made the stay decent, as they were very helpful and accommodating to all my requests. Thanks to them.

The Bar staff are excellent and friendly. If you are just looking for a place at the beach to hang around for the day with not much huzzle I will recommend this place. I would not recommend their rooms, but for me as a native Filipino the room is adequate or livable.

If the tv worked, if there were light bulbs in the bed side lamps, if the toilet seat wasn’t broken, if the shower awning didn’t come out of the wall when pulling the shower screen, if they didn’t put me in the closest room to the stereo which blared music till 1am, if the beach wasn’t low tide for half a kilometre out to sea in the morning and the water actually rose above knee high so you could swim it might have been a good place to stay....

The pictures on the site makes this place look okl. But, don't be deceived, I found lots of roaches on the bed and towels. On the weekend, the Sunset beach area is the party spots. So the music never stops playing. Couldn't sleep all night with the incessant loud music and bass. Would never stay here again. The beach looked ok with a view of Davao. I will never stay here again.

It may look good in the photos but 1.toilet hardware are too dirty 2.from 7am you will hear Video oke till 3am 3.sea shore are full of molds 4.free breakfast was served after 45 mins. 5.dining area for breafast is full of cigarette butts 6.while having breafast you will be seating beaside a lot of people drinking beer 7am and having fun with Video oke. 7.No T.V. in room. 8.crowded area.

staff is accommodating and ate even lend us 2 extra pillow free of charge (40php/pillow). they were kind enough to move us to another room because the light was too dim, 1 of the 2 lamps was not working and faucet was broken. food is fair their tocilog was delicious. location is far from entrance and you need to pay 30php per head for the entrance to sunset beach park.

A little disappointed ”
Seemed like they wanted to squeeze every penny out of us. We had to pay for entering property although we had reservations., free breakfast didn't include coffee or juice- had to pay extra for them, couldn't sit in huts overlooking beach at restaurant unless we paid extra. That sort of thing. No wifi or hot water. Nice beach. Pretty enough property but doesn't cater to guests at all.

No Free Breakfast, Clogged Sink and Unsecured Door”
We never had a free breakfast. We paid for what we ate. Why???We stayed at Room 2 last week. The room was neat and clean. But, the sink would take around 10-15 mins before it will get completely drained. We also had to move our table with our luggages on it to secure the door because its doorknob seemed unsecured. We couldn't complain to the staff because he seemed drunk and was drinking with some other guys during the time. Disappointing. :(

website said there will be free wifi provided but no. the toilet bowl flushing is not working. i book 2 room accidentally but they refused to refund 1 room for me. i book 3 days 2 night but i have left in the second day.

土曜の夜で 真ん前のビーチは巨大なｄｉｓｃｏと化していて夜通し騒々しい。 bed lightは電球が外されている。 テレビは地上波チャンネルだけなのに金を払わないとリモコンを貸してくれない。 同じSAMALでも次回はもっと静かな所にしよう
