Guests' reviews matters. We were on a 7day roadtrip. When I was about to book a room for our Laoag-Paoay stay, it was between 2properties.Veranda Suites and the other one which is in the downtown area of Paoay. Before booking, I read all the recent reviews. Quiet place, hotel-like amenities and linens, professional and friendly staff.. Indeed it is! With a amazing view of Paoay lake from their restaurant. Highspeed internet and breakfast provided. We would definitely be back. And a big plus, they accept pets as long as ur furbaby is potty trained or will be wearing diaper within their premises. Thank u Veranda Suites team for making our stay truly memorable and relaxing. :) Tip: we booked our room thru Agoda. Best price plus additional 5% discount if u use ur BDO credit/debit card.

Don’t Hesitate to Book With Them”
Strong wi-fi, nice place, picturesque lake. Staff is attentive and warm, the room is pretty, TV working nicely, complete with amenities (no hair dryer though but maybe that’s already too much to ask). Reasonable price and the food! My husband enjoyed his coffee most especially. This place is near the Paoay Sand Dunes and other tourist attractions. We had a comfortable stay.

Nice Place to Stay in Laoag”
Pros: cozy clean room; reasonably priced; overlooking Paoay Lake; breakfast (enjoyed 4 breakfasts); nice personnel Cons: few cars in the area (lucky us we brought a car) Others: they provide soap, toothbrush/paste, shampoo/conditioner combined, towel, toilet paper. Bring along other toiletries that you use. They have a restaurant. If you plan to have early breakfast or dinner, better advice them in advance. They are very accommodating.

A great place to relax after a long day!”
Veranda suites and restaurant is a great value for money. Situated in the middle of everything. Few minutes away from Paoay Church, Sand dunes and Malacañang of the North. An hour and a half drive to Vigan, same if you want to go to Pagudpud, not bad! Rooms are very clean and also the toilet, very important! Kudos to cleaning staff! AC inside the room is cold also. Just need to improve on the menu, not a lot to choose from and most are not available. Aside from that, all is well and very good! Will definitely recommend and come back. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Room was nice and big, breakfast was great. Arrived after 5pm but couldn't check-in yet though as they still had to prepare the room. Will be back again the next time we're in Ilocos.

2year old hotel”
Very basic yet clean, hot water running well and fast. bed & pillows comfy. well lit room. Joy from the front desk was an asset to this place. She is a natural when it comes to service, her demeanor and knowledge was very helpful. Resto was artistically decorated. A bonus was this place is beside a loom weaver who also was very hospitable in showing us her place and letting kids experience weaving 1st hand.

Ok for a 1 night stopover. Helpful staff. Good view of Paoay Lake from the restaurant. Understaffed and the restaurant is closed except for breakfast. There’s a Japanese Resto just across the Veranda though.

Property is very clean, But when we checked in, no cable tv & no WI Fi😅😅. Staff said that they are still in the process of having their connections restored as they had just opened after the lock down. Will still be back hopefully with wifi connection & cable Tv next time.😊

When we checked in there was no electricity. They operated the generator only after we checked in only to realized it was not working. We traveled from Manila at 3am and arrived paoay at 4pm. We were tired and hot and was so looking forward to relax in a cool room. We were the only guests at that time. It took them almost an hour to have the generator working.

The place is nicely decorated, has a beautiful location and a very fast internet connection. my room was clean and had an outdoor garden area where it was nice to sit down and relax. the view of the paoay lake from the restaurant is great! would definitely recommend:)

Everything was perfect except for a few quirks”
PROS: 1. Awesome location, the hotel is parallel to the river so it really is a beautiful view to wake up to 2. The sheets and linens were laundered well so they smelled at par with hotels in Manila 3. THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT 4. The staff were very professional and attended to all our needs 5. The hotel is newly built but with hints of Ilocano tradition as decor CONS: 1. The bed was a little hard 2. The heater stopped working on our second day That’s pretty much it :) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Our stay there was surprisngly pleasant! The view from the place is outstanding, and the rooms were very comfortable. the food was great. Their bagnet and longganisa dishes are something we would definitely come back to!;)
