Great place for an extended weekend getaway!”

This place is a little oasis with adorable animals and the tub was amazing. We had a tasty dinner upon arrival and we felt very welcome and comfortable during our stay. It's a few minutes from the beach with a promenade where you can take a walk. Overall very good experience.

Not what we expected”

The host was really friendly, use of a hot tub, the actual bed was comfortable and the shower was decent.
It is very very very different to what it seems on the pictures online. Although there is a ‘mention’ of a pet pig and some ducks, it doesn’t mention how everything is so enclosed, you feel like you are living in the pig sty itself and everything is so on top of eachother. Just under our window was the pile of pig poo from its ‘home’. There was smeared dog poo on the paving stone just outside our door which we had to keep an extra eye out that we didn’t step in it every time we walked in or out. This also left a constant horrendous smell. There was duck diarrhoea sprayed over the walk ways, I genuinely had to move back so the poo spray didn’t get me. - I don’t think the ducks should be allowed to roam the parts where guests walk? The cabin that you stay in, although tidy, is covered with flys, bugs and mosquitos to which the owner says it’s expected. If this was written in the advert online I would not have booked. We genuinely felt like we was staying outside in a jungle and very on edge. There was no hand soap, shower gel or conditioner in the room which we had to ask for, just a bit of shampoo left, so I feel as though the bathroom was not inspected before our arrival? - The pig proceeded to wake us up at 7am extremely loudly. When reading about these pets you expect them to at least be away from where you are sleeping. When booking Online, you believe to be staying in a lovely quiet beach shack.. but instead it feels like a farm. I genuinely think £250 a night is way too expensive for the conditions of this place.. it’s actually rather shocking. The hot tub is nice but everything around it (shelves etc) is extremely dirty. There is no bin within the room, so all of our rubbish just had to stay sitting on top of the table. And on top of all of this, breakfast is not included, this has to be paid extra on top of 250. Not even a swanky hotel in London would charge £12 for avocado on toast. We found this completely shocking. We was told the hot tub closes at...

Great experience our family will remember always.”

Samantha was fantastic. Animals and hot tub bonus. Lots of nice thoughtful touches . Very attentive . Good was great. 👌
Not enough room for our family but we knew that it would be tight when we booked. Not their fault.

An absolute gem”

What a find! My sister and I wanted to explore Arundal and this location was only a 15min drive away and a 5min walk to the beach. From the outside, it looks like a normal street, but as soon as you enter the 'grounds' it's a little haven. Everything was super clean. Make sure you test out the hot tub! Samantha was also a wonderfully friendly and attentive host who couldn't do enough for us. You must also try her smoothies for breakfast one morning :) Would highly recommend a visit.

I’m not a vegan maybe -”

It was quirky , I loved the pig and ducks and Samantha was lovely
Well …..it was £215 a night £80 yesss but ….. it was my boyfriends Valentine present . The moment we walked it i was shocked I didn’t realise it was a normal street house back garden turned into a small holding . There was a communal hot tub approx 4 metres from our only viewing window which felt inappropriate. My boyfriend was in hysterics actually that our romantic night away was practically in a shed at the end of someone’s garden. Look I feel uncomfortable writing this but for the money it’s ludicrous…..the sheets didn’t smell fresh of laundry detergent though I know were clean and ironed - would have been nice if they smelt fresh - all we could smell was feet all night My boyfriend has OCD and is a clean freak he said he struggled to sleep all night we had to get plastered to come back ( smell - think it was the pig literally outside the window and ducks ) Must say the dressing gowns hung next to the toilet were also not smelling fresh and please move them very unhygienic……but Samantha was lovely I commend her for what she’s done with the space but the pictures are very deceiving. Wasn’t at all the romantic getaway I imagined but my did we laugh ….. Maybe if we were vegan it would be different ….

Lovely quirky place to stay”

Loved staying here. Great hot tub , spotlessly clean. A quiet oasis. Lovely welcome and delicious cake! Lots of friendly animals including the house pig who kept an eye on me when I used the hot tub - I think he was jealous, and 3 ducks who definitely had a leader and a pecking order. I had my own private garden and seating area. I was a little worried about the parking before I visited as needed to keep my car close by, but parking outside was not a problem.

Exceptional”

The host (Samantha) was so lovely, she made us feel like home. We had a lot of fun with the animals and enjoyed the hot tub. Although our room was a part of one lot, we had our own entrance and it felt very private. The accommodation was absolutely beautiful and we can't stress how amazing the food prepared by Samantha was (we truly recommend the vegan burger). At the end of the stay one of us fell sick and Samantha was so nice that she has extended our check out and even provided medication. As to the location, the property is very close to the beach and we took a one day trip to visit the close-by Arundel castle (book tickets in advance) which was perfect for a weekend getaway. Overall we loved our stay!

Rustic relaxing retreat”

Friendly welcome to a very clean property with all the basics you need for a break away, comfortable room with lovely spacious shower room. Tea coffee making facilities and reasonable WiFi. Most communication via text for anything you need or to order food. Food was delicious and nicely presented, limited evening menu but was well worth eating.
Rustic exterior, quaint and private, a little TLC would make it perfect. If TV is your thing you can only get prime no normal channels. A taller table to eat would be better as eating off a low coffee table isn’t comfortable.

Superb”

Spent an impromptu night here with my 2 sons - aged 8 and 12. We all loved it, from the quirky homely vibe to the great location minutes from the beach and not forgetting the adorable house pig which the boys won’t forget in a hurry. Hot tub was a nice treat on a chilly Saturday evening too. Samantha was super helpful and friendly and we all enjoyed the vegan breakfast options.
