I cant explain how impressed I am with the superb customer service experience. Each and everyone of the staff, from front desk upto room cleaners is amazing! They are too polite, very helpful, go around the extra mile to provide customer service and satisfaction. Ive stayed in quite a no of hotels and this is one of the best and most welcoming hotel I have experinced so far! Do note: they are very patient to us, with a little child along. Thank you so much! I will certainly come back for staycation to this hotel !

Classy, clean and comfortable room”
We had an enjoyable 3 nights stay. I like the Chinese antique furniture – modern amenities with a good blend of traditional design. We love the big bed with comfortable pillows, everything smell good! Good location with lots of eateries and close to MTR stations – Central, Hong Kong and Sheung Wan. For travel to Macau, the Hong Kong ferry terminal is nearby – from Hotel turn left, walk down hill along Wellington Street to Bonham Strand, then turn right to Hillier Street, go underground via Sheung Wan MTR entrance/exit A2 and get out at entrance/exit D.

Great location and service”
Great experience for us, three sisters, to stay in this hotel. Staff, John, Yan and Mag, are nice and helpful. Even though the room is small, it is clean and well equipped. Location is at the center of the city. Easy to access. Convenient and safe. Restaurants are around the area. Just there is a construction site next to the hotel and some voice after 10am.

One of the best I've ever stayed”
Great value for money. Although the political and economic situations aren't good to HK at present which have caused the price drop, this hotel offers a really neat and comfortable place to rest well for our tight travel schedules. The clean, decent size room is most impressive.

Surprise”
Butterfly on Wellington is a surprise in the heart of the city. The family room is superb and surprisingly spacious for four of us, rarely found in Hong Kong. With friendly and accommodating staff, they offer to provide us a heater to cope with the coldest days of the year. We encountered a sewage problem at the beginning but it was immediately fixed by the staff. Furniture and facilities like the TV and air purifiers are new and in good condition. We would highly recommend them.

My new favorite hotel in Central”
It was my first time to stay in Butterfly In Wellington and it did not disappoint! We were in the middle of everthing! Michelin rated restaurants are just a 3-8 minute walk away from the hotel. Lai Kwan Fong, just a 10-minute walk! This hotel is situated in between 2 MTRs (Central and Sheung Wan, each 7 mins away) so going around Hong Kong won’t be a problem. The check in procedure was swift and they can give you an option if you want to use the wifi mobile device for free! Room was always clean when we got back after a long and tiring day. We stayed at a room with 2 queen beds and it was big enough for a family of 3-4. They don’t serve breakfast here but there’s a bakery in front of it and a coffee shop as well. We will definitely stay here again!

An excellent mid price hotel in Central”
We had a great hotel experience at Butterfly! Contemporary asian interior design with neutral colors and elegant use of wooden elements, good price and warm staff made it for us. Proximity to a street market selling fruits was a plus. Dont miss the street food kiosk Sing Kee nearby - excellent chinese seafood and fried rice! Will be back!

I booked this last minute. About 10 minute walk from Central MTR station. Room was nice and hotel staff were very friendly. Restaurants and market nearby and a supermarket the next road up.

Fantastic location and value for money”
Awesome hotel and great value for money. The rooms were very big by HK standards and very peaceful given the central location. Free nespresso coffee in the morning a big bonus. And the shower was amazing. We are a family of four (2 adults and 2 teens) and we all really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend it.

we have tried almost all the rooms available in this hotel and we must say the "Pure Air Signature with 4G Pocket Wi-Fi Device" room is by far the best in size and value. it has a small sofa area where you can sit and have a couple of guests. the tele comes with Netflix which is a big plus. i love how they would put dehumidifiers in each room as well as it is quite necessary in summer for HK if you want to sleep comfortably without feeling soggy. staff members are polite and helpful. we will be back!

Lovely hotel with good size room for Hong Kong. Quiet but in an excellent location close to escalators and 10 mins to IFC Mall. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Great boutique hotel in a central location”
Hotel was easy to get to via Airport Express HongKong Station and sheltered walkways. Great location as a base to walk around and explore. Basic room size is comfortable for a couple, compact yet efficient use of space with basic amenities provided. Love the shower pressure too though some might find the shower cubicle too narrow. Bed was firm and loved that both soft and firm pillows were provided. Appreciated the hotel granting our request of early check in and late check out too. Highly recommend BoW and looking forward to trying out their other Butterfly hotels next time.

totally worthwhile staying in the biggest family room!”
We have been staying at Butterfly on Wellington a few times by now. We have tried the smaller rooms which is nicely decorated (with dehumidifier provided which is very thoughtful). This time we tried the biggest family room - it is more than double the size of the smaller room, not as nicely decorated, but we just love the space! Cleaning staff is amazing and thoughtful and noticed that we do not use two beds but use two duvets instead, so when they made the bed on the second day, they placed both duvets on one bed. Staff at the reception are generally polite and helpful. Free coffee is provided in the morning at the reception level, which is pretty nice. We will certainly be back!

Good location to go around”
It is easy to walk around the area. The room and bed is small but not that bad. The staffs are nice, friendly, and really helpful! Very close to restaurant and go to the train station...It is Hong Kong, walking is normal anyway. Recommended!

Great Hotel in a Fab location”
Excellent hotel that has a great location close to Soho for restaurants and bars and really close to the IFC shopping mall. Easy walk to HK station to grab the airport express. Would definitely stay again!

great location with nice Chinese decor”
not the first time I stayed here. staff are generally nice and helpful. each room comes with a dehumidifier which is great for HK weather. 4 pillows are provided in each bed with cute little butterflies labeling which ones are soft and which ones are hard. love the fact that it comes with a bathrobe which most boutique hotels do not provide nowadays. some rooms comes with a Nespresso machine, if not you can always pop down to the reception floor for a Nespresso. location is superb - 2 minutes walk down to the Center, 2 minutes walk to the bars and restaurants literally next to the hotel. highly recommended!
