Large room (for HK) and great location”
3 night stay at The Mercer. Very nice size room and bathroom. Quiet and comfortable. Lots of food options nearby and great coffee shop just around the corner. Short walk to Sheung Wan MTR station. I would stay here again for sure.

Elegant Apartment in Hip nieghbourhood”
The building is located in Sheung Wan still very close to Central District of Hong Kong Island. Surrounded by eateries of all sorts. Interesting area with preserved old buildings. Plenty pubs and places to hang out, all mingle well into the local fresh food markets and local business from metalware to tea shop. The apartment itself is spacious, airy, quiet and well equipped. High ceiling and well-furnished.

Convenient location”
Room was spacious, clean and bright, the location was super convenient and the staff are nice. However, the soundproofing need to be improved, as I heard the room next door slamming doors, kids screaming in the corridor and housekeeping cleaning their room and people talking loudly at 8-ish in the morning which woke me up a couple of times. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would return.

Very modern and classy”
Though it not near the busy streets and a 10 minute walk from the train station, it still provides good value for money because the amenities are good and the room is quite big for Hong kong

Although it is a five minute walk to the nearest train station there are so many things to see and it nearby and it is just at 10 minute walk to Central

Great location and all the staffs are very kind and helpful. close proximity to Sheung wan MTR station and tram also. bed is big sized for double and very clean room. If I stay again near Sheung wan, hope to stay more.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I just had to for the following reasons: 1. The staff, especially those who worked in the reception were very friendly and even gave helpful tips. 2. Our room was cleaned everyday and is spacious compared to the other hotels I’ve stayed in Hong Kong. 3. Location was very accessible to a lot of good restaurants and bars. I would definitely stay here again if I go to Hong Kong.

Amazing Location & Staff”
Staff were exceptional, and are so accommodating and anticipated our needs to the tee. I felt that they went above and beyond. Location is GREAT. Walking distance to great food, shopping, and the MTR. Total value for money! Cleanliness was okay, but breakfast experience was a let down. There wasn't enough food, not enough seating. Variety was acceptable though (reading from the food labels), since there wasn't much left the few times I hit up the breakfast. But easily remedied, walk around a little bit around the block and you'll have tons of breakfast options.

I've stayed in the studio room this time which is located in the lower floors. The room is relatively big when comparing to general hotel room at the same price range. The staff are friendly and helpful as always.

I forgot how many times I stayed in the Mercer for weekends or holiday since the pandemics kicked in. Friendly staff, excellent location in a lovely neighbourhood and the one-bedroom suite is rather big in terms of its size.

I have stayed in the Mercers for a few times. I've got upgraded to the one-bedroom suite this time. The room is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and always ready to help and chat with. I will definitely book again.

Hotel is ok, reasonable. The room looks tired, feels old and not very clean. Exterior of the bathtub has a clear dark yellow/orange stain from years of usage, toilet seat has two blue spots possibly from cleaning chemical or tablets but they remained when I rubbed it hard with alcohol and tissue. Lots of storage space, large table, friendly located plugs. Air con is strange, either too cold or too hot. Do not require room card to access the lift. Shower is hot and pressure is strong. I paid <500hkd, for what I paid, it was good value for money. If it is anything more, then I would consider other

in this time of covid,, Mercer is a great option as it offers more than a single room. Kitchen very limited, but better than none. price reasonable and location fun as many small streets on which you can ezxplore and many small restaurants nearby. I suggest it.

Keep returning to the Mercer for short stay during the pandemic. Love the vibe of the hotel and the suites on the higher floors have excellent view. Staff are friendly and helpful and the neighbourhood is full of chic coffee shop and restaurants.

Excellent location ”
Great location in Sheung Wan and close to eating places. Executive Room was decently sized and good value on the whole but room needs a refresh. Decor is dated and found a bathrobe worn out and torn which should have long been retired. Hong Kong is facing some hard times at the moment with slashed hotel prices from reduced visitors so there is quite a lot to choose from.
