You must have a car, quiet area with nice view and bbq place (they charge $20 for a bag of charcoal enough for 3h) but you can buy on the mart also.

Room is clean and the view is the best. Highly recommend for who rent a car in jeju. Location a bit far.

The place is cosy and nice. Quite spacious as well n equipped with basic necessities. However, there were some areas that were quite dirty, and filled with cobwebs. There wasn't any check in procedures as well and the staff can't speak in neither English nor Chinese. The in-room heating system is in Korean and there was no instruction guide in English. The location is quite far from the city, but near to the sea. So if u prefer a quiet getaway, and has a rental car, you may consider here.

Big room, comfort but outskirt”

I rented a car so location is not a problem for me, the hotel is very nice, big room and comfort, suitable for family group. Nearby there is only few restaurant and market, 20-30 minutes drive to Segwipo town.

Budget hotel”

This hostel's location is very convenience , nearby a few restaurants . The host is very kind, She woke up for me in the very early morning to call a taxi to the airport.

Second visit”

This was my second visit back to IRO after the good impression I had from the first when it was just open. While all things being the same, the value, the location and staff remained plus points, all else seems to have stagnated. Rooms come with ground heating for the colder seasons and they provide BBQ pits if you are up for it. Fantastic sea views as well as the country side away from the two main city centers in Jeju. Recommended for travelers who like to go free and easy off the beaten road.

The owner is friendly and accommodating though a bit weak in English, may have problem in communication. The room is spacious and clean. Cooking facilities are well equipped. Location good for self-driving tourists.

Clean room but location is not convenient”

Overall staying in IRO Pension is very comfortable and the view from the balcony is nice as we can see the ocean. However, the location of the hotel is quite far from the attraction. We need to walk for 15 minutes to get a bus and travel almost for an hour to reach the nearest attraction. Such, this hotel will be more suitable for traveler with own transport.

Special pension at special location”

The location of this pension is remote. It overlooks a coastal town. We occupied a penthouse unit which enables us to have unobstructed sunrise and sunset view! The room is very cozy, it is modern.

Awesome staff and nice view ”

The stay was awesome. This location is highly recommended for people with cars as its not very accessible. Our car broke down, the staff was helpful to call the tow car down as we can't speak a word of Korean. Overall our stay is pleasant and the room is awesome.

Cozy stay with lots of room”

Stay was good. Place is quiet, plenty of circulation room for family to get together or enjoy rest time on our own. A bit isolated if you are not driving in Jeju as it is far from many of the attractions, but nearby town has a lot of small but good eateries. No housekeeping, so you need to make sure to dry your towels daily. Good if they can provide floor towels so that you can dry feet coming out of the shower.

There was a funny smell in the room, was difficult to locate the owner for check in (best if you call and let them know when you will be arriving), limited food options around.

Wonderful pension for family ”

Even with GPS, it took us some effort to find the place. We are a family of four, husband, I and his parents. There are two toilets, one in master room and one common room. There is kitchenette and we cooked breakfast every morning. But need to take note that this pension doesn't provide washing machine for laundry.

Nice peaceful quiet and beautiful”

Would recommend renting a vehicle in Jeju to fully experience what this island has to offer. IRO is superb. Good service and location is not too bad. It is nowhere near town but, coupled withe how Jeju works, this is perfect for travellers who love scenery and looking for a laid back experience. Overall clean and good value. Very satisfied.

Pleasant stay here except for as we are been allocated on the 1st floor, the guests staying above us was a bit too noisy.
