A non-hotel that is as good as a hotel”
A good description of Victoria's Haven is that it is a very well run B&B. Located about a mile north of the airport, it is convenient to both Dumaguete and all points north (Tanhay, Pamplona, Manjuyod, etc.). It is on the private property of a working business. It is protected by the same security that guards the business. The grounds of the B&B are well cared for. The staff are professionally trained, and their service for guests is excellent. Our room was actually more a suite, built in the traditional Filipino style, with dark, native wood. It had kitchen, living room, dining room, and a large bedroom. Each room has a separate AC, with the best one being in the BR, where it is most needed to deal with the typical heat of the Philippines. But we did not really use the suite for more than just sleeping. Victoria's Haven is perfect for exploring parts of Negros Oriental: Apo Island, Manjuyod Sand Bar, hiking, etc.

I was hesitant to book online. The pictures always look better than the place. So I only booked one night even though we would be in Dumaguete 2 nights. Much to my surprise it was so clean and the linens where soft. The landscape is amazing. No iron in the room they iron for you! I met the owner and he was also helpful. The complementary breakfast was great too. Needless to say we not only booked a 2nd night. We had others stay both nights also. Thanks Victoria's Haven

Great hotel at a good price”
Nice and spacious rooms, great bed, really large and nice grounds, and restaurant. The food is really good. The staff and owner are very welcoming and helpful. My only slight negative is you can hear some street noise from motorbikes, but it's not too bad, if you are really sensitive to sound you may need some earplugs or something to block out the noise a bit. Definitely recommended.

Highly recommended for Staycation.”
Loved the facilities, in-house games, billiards, pingpong, and a half court basketball court. Breakfast outside on the garden was beautiful. The ambience of the place was very peaceful and serene. Loved our Junior Queen room with Netflix. Neat CR though they didn't have complimentary toothpaste. Coffee was regular. In general, we were very happy with our stay.
