Luxurious accommodation, friendly and helpful staff”
My family and I wanted to treat ourselves to a place that was luxurious and comfortable. We certainly found it. Positives: Luxurious accommodation - we stayed in the 2-br family condo. Beautiful decor, pristine condition, spacious and with all the mod cons. Loved it. Incredibly helpful staff who always served with a smile. A huge and special thank you to Lhen, Mira, Mabelle, Jacky, Arcelli and Lot Lot. They went out of their way to make us comfortable, helping us with ferry, tricycle and van hires and the people they picked were spot on. Facilities - enjoyed the Signature massages at the Spa - found it reasonably priced. The infinity pool and gym were fantastic. If you love snorkelling, the marine sanctuary just a 10 min walk up the beach to Dauin North will blow you away. Exceptional coral and marine life! Downsides - it is located a good 30 min ride to decent food outside. Food standard at the resort frankly was disappointing for a resort of this caliber. Wi fi quality was poor.

Home away from home”
We were pleasantly surprised to find a piece of paradise in Vida Homes. The service was great! The villa was large and complete, with all the facilities of home including a balcony, a pool and a garden. Our meals at the Pura Vida (property across) were quite delicious, thanks to Chef Tim. The only thing they need to improve is their billing system. Upon checkout, we had to go all the way back to Pura Vida to settle our food bills which could have been done at the Vida Homes since they both belong to one company. Either they should have notified us ahead of time or should have made it easy by consolidating all bills for final checkout.

very fine, big rooms; everything was 100% perfect (only the supersmall,badworking safeboxes should be exchanged completely); staff very friendly; very fine personal climate; all 2 pools are very clean, one with smal whirlpool. The site is very fine, and the rooms very good (much different to Pura Vida on opposite lot). The price is high, but 100% correct. I will come again.

Love this resort, it’s around 30-40 mins away from Dumaguete city. It’s a place to relax and have an enjoyable time with my family. Marine sanctuary is 15 mins walking distance, we went there for the snorkelling, love it.

Stayed with family members for a wedding occupying several different accommodations. The Villa’s was pricey but once you see the units you’ll be amazed of the architectural details and understand why the price was right. It was worth it. We occupied several units and each of the units had different features to offer. A new venue for my family to stay when we come to visit.

Very nice and quiet resort with condo-type amenities.”
The resort is every clean and nicely laid out. Each unit has its own kitchen and a full-size refrigerator, which makes cooking a very viable option, provided you buy groceries in the city beforehand. Cleaning staff comes in daily and are quite thorough.. Main amenities are a pool and a gym, but not much else. Of course swimming at the beach is always an option, but you need to watch out for the dive boats that come and go fairly regularly. Meals are a bit of an issue if you choose not to cook in, as the resort shares dining facilities with its sister resort next door, and the place can get pretty crowded especially during breakfast. WiFi and mobile signal are spotty, though, especially inside the units. You need to go to the reception or poolside bar areas to get good signal. There’s no intercom but they lend you a tablet that you can use to chat via Skype with the staff. Food is good, especially their breads. Overall, we had a very nice experience during our four-day stay.

A wonderful easy mini break location”
What a brilliant little sanctuary. Loved our stay and ideal for a young family as the apartment is right next to the pool so the smallest could have a daytime sleep while we all kept swimming whilst supervising the youngest! The set up is superb with well finished apartments and very comfortable beds - 5 star hotels are aligned. Wonderful staff with excellent attitudes especially Ollie and the girls on the desk. Opportunities for improvement are the western food that was not great and not having the ability to call a babysitter. Otherwise fantastic and we can cook for ourselves as its got a great kitchen.

The price of stay is not in line with the resort condition, the price is very expensive, because the sea shore was very rocky and spiky full of coral reef rocks very spiky and pinchy on our feet steps, I did not enjoy the water of the sea because of all these painful rocks.. so for me it is over rated.. it is not bad but not the best place that everyone dreamed of, one more thing be careful not to damage any items in this resort room because they charge very badly! you will be shocked about the price of their little ugly things that they put in your way, I have been charged almost 5600 pesos for only two soap containers, I would not even buy them for 100 pesos if I see it in the market nor to accept them if somebody give them to me as gift, it is very ugly and looks like disposable thing, but it turned on that this ugly unappreciated thing unfortunately coasted me a lot of money 5600 pesos so be careful.
