It is a struggling management ”
Noimee is a very smart lady who has spent a lot of years abroad but in resort management she has to provide more to guest and demand less. Her German husband need more friendly attitude and agree with guest more than disagree. There are so many negative things to mention but i hope they realises their mistakes and do not charge for hot water for guest to make their own tea or coffee and let them to bring back the food they wish to have if there is not much on the menu. I would rate the management 1 out of 10 but hoping to improve in the next couple of years.

This a very expected review specially from guests who come in a very remote place in the province of the Philippines and wants all their wishes to be granted, breakfast opens at 6:30am and you want to have your own tea at 5am because your own kettle is not working and fyi all our guests knew that we buy drinking water in this island as we only have water from the deep well and they understand and they have no problem with the 25PHP flask of hot water. No sane person would go to a restaurant and buy raw ingredients and ask the cook to cook a dish for them.. Menu is there if your not happy with it, you are very free to find your own food outside of the resort. Best Regards, Noemi not Noimee

+the new staff that took over is really wellcoming you! The woman helped me with information about the ferry and the german gave me free dinner and breakfast!! Both were so nice -the beach isnt that nice and clean but if u are looking for a place to relax is great and the islands in front seem to be good too (i heard).

Best experience ever ”
This has been our best stay in Philippines by far. We went there just for a few days and ended up being more than 2 weeks! We felt at home and didn’t want to leave. Franc and Joreen are great host, the attention and service is excellent. Lovely views of the sunset and being so close to the beach is amazing. The food is very tasty, we enjoyed so much. (Yo won’t have problems if you are vegetarian) I totally recommend this place and we are looking forward to come back.

This place is very recommended for travelers who are looking for a real getaway - away from tourist spots. There is a looong beach directly in front of the small Resort where you can walk and meet the friendly locals doing their daily routine (fishing, cooking, swimming , boat cleaning..). You can make real friends here! The owners of the resort (Franc & Joreen) are extremely nice and are making any effort to make you happy. Franc is also an awesome cook, I tried many of the dishes on the menu and they were extremely good! If you looking for a very relaxed time, this is the place to be in Masbate. I loved my stay here and will definitely come back! (The resort is located about 2 km away from Placer, a village 2 hours drive with public van from Masbate Town (180 PHP))

The owners were very accommodating. We were spoiled by the owners during our stay -- they were very hospitable. The food was delicious and the servings are generous. (I recommend the seafood paella!) I will definitely visit again!

The place needs a complete renovation, the airco did not work .The beach in front of the resort is dirty and there is no option to enjoy the water or the beach.Although the staff is very nice, there are not many things to enjoy there.

Good morning, I remember that you have not paid for a room with air conditioning, if you think a little maybe the reason the air does not work. With regard to dirty water, I also remember that during your stay here, the weather does not good, was small typhoon, with rains and moderately strong winds, maybe if you think a little more, that is why the beach is not very suitable to enjoy . I do not remember that you left the complex and that normally we offer our motor and tricycle free of charge, to visit the surroundings, perhaps that is another reason why you have not seen anything of the surroundings of the complex. Anyway we thank you for your stay in our Resort and we invite you to repeat the experience, but this time with a less sedentary mentality. Thank you very much.

A very nice and calm small resort”
As we arrived at the resort at a very early hour.. we were friendly greeted with coffee and smiles. The room was very clean and in a good state. The staff and the owner was VERY nice and accommodating. The owner comes form the Spain and he cooks the best Paella we have ever eaten! All in all the stay there was very pleasant and the staff took really good care of us.
