nice spot to get away from the crowded tourist traps in the city. place appears to be old. but the sense nostalgia will take you back to the baguio days of old. commuting may be a bit difficult since main roads where taxis frequent are a few hundred meters away - the walk is nice anyways so we didn't mind. nice view of BCC and the golf course. no A/C, so best to come here during the colder months. very near well known establishments in camp john hay. will go back here soon.

Baguio Country Club's no-frills, budget little sibling”

Location was perfect for attending a wedding in St. Joseph (ceremony) and Baguio Country Club (reception), both less than 5 minutes away from Villa Cordillera. A little way off the city proper. Booking was for 4 single beds but we were given the Daisy room which had 2 singles and a king. Room was spotless, spacious, had a large dressing table with mirror, and a walk-in closet. The overall feel is dated, but for the price I paid I got what mattered to me: comfortable beds, hot shower, and no plumbing issues. Breakfast and the gorgeous view of the BCC golf course were big bonuses. I'm picky with budget accommodations, and this is one I can comfortably recommend to anyone not seeking luxury.

Villa Cordillera”

We booked this hotel at the last minute. We booked the deluxe 4bed type.It was great. We were expecting a little less and an old looking hotel but our room was big and overlooking the golf course at Camp John Hay. Yes, the place needs some maintenance but its tolerable. This place will be great for family/friends that would like to stay together in one room. Plus they had a band performing at the restaurant which we found very nice. I think they should re do the pics of their hotel at agoda. And the heater took a little longer to warm up. We will definitely come back!

Perfect Baguio Ambiance”

If you want the old homey baguio ambiance, Villa Cordillera is perfect for you. Spectacular view of Baguio Country Club's golfcourse. Not all hotel in Baguio has a fireplace to keep you warm, Villa Cordillera has a fireplace. The food at "The Other Office" (Villa Cordillera's resto) is surprisingly good yet affordable plus a live-band to keep you company at night.

We checked in and were really happy with the friendly courteous and warm service the hotel gave us. The location is a little far from the city centre but it is in a very nice quiet Laplace with fantastic views of the Baguio country club. Really good ambience at the restaurant at night with a live band. Reasonable prices for meals too. Would stay there again.

The Feeling of the Real Baguio”

The location is the best specially if your looking for the old feel baguio.

Old but very clean and confortable hotel”

it was a pleasant experience. although you need to go down a steep set of stairs to get to the rooms but if you don't have joint problems or fear of heights this should not be an issue. There's also a spacious lounge with fireplace overlooking the golf course for each floor.

Enjoyable, the rooms are okay, clean, and spacious. My favorite was the veranda overlooking the mountains. A place to rest and relax. Away from the crowds.

Room size was good, big walk in clothes. Best thinks is they have common spacious living room and valandea where over looks pine forest.

We stayed for a couple of nights here and overall it was good. The room looks really old but for someone like us, it was fine. The staff in the restaurant are all nice. The foods are all delicious, surprisingly! They have a very nice fireplace, and there's also a band playing every night. The ambience was also great. They also have wifi. The location is maybe 15-20 minutes away from the city proper by car. Getting a cab along the area was a challenge for us. The longest time that we waited for a cab was just around 15 minutes. Overall, we had a very relaxing stay here.

We enjoyed our stay especially dining with the jazz band playing. Accessible to lots of tourist attractions.

Idyllic location, poor service”

I used to like everything about this hotel, until their service just got poorer. They used to be tied up with a massage/spa company so having a relaxing massage in my room at night after a long day exploring the city was one of the things I looked forward to have at the hotel. When I asked the duty manager at night if I could have a massage service in my room from their spa partner, he said they already cut their partnership with that spa. I asked then if I could call another spa company and have their therapist come to my room. He said no, they don't allow that. When I asked why, he said they don't want to have any responsibility/ accountability should something bad happen to me or to the therapist. I said I'm waiving you of any responsibility should something happen to me because of a simple massage. He still insisted he cannot allow that. Maybe I just didn't notice this before during my previous stays at the hotel, but they don't have a phone/intercom in the rooms, so if you want room service, you have to go all the way from your room -- and that means climbing the steep stairs if you're billeted at the lower levels -- to the reception. They also don't provide toothpaste or toothbrush to the guests, so be sure you have your complete set of basic toiletries when you check in here. Slippers are also not provided. If you are traveling without your own car, finding a cab here could take time.
