business and pleasure in San Jose”
it was awesome. i wouldnt even try the other hotels in San Jose when i come back. I'll book straiht to Villa Paulina. try the garlic shrimp and crabs. it will definitely make your day. our fieldwork in San Jose was a rather difficult assignment wherein we had to walk for a few kilometers in the mountain, but going back to Villa Paulina every night brought us comfort and relaxation. It's also right by the beach so every bight before dinner, my officemates and I would take a stroll or a dip... it really recharged us at the end of a difficult working day.

The best hotel in San Jose Mindoro”
We had a good stay in this small hotel. It was on the beach, which was clean and seemed isolated from other people. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Our only complain was their hard bed, which gave me a back pain each morning. If I have to go back to this dirty town of Mindoro (God forbid), I'll stay at this hotel again because it's the best in San Jose.

Nice hotel along the beach ”
I was able to try a few hotels in San Jose when I was there for a home. Out of the three I stayed in, paulinas was the best overall. Right on the beach, private and God for resting. A bit further form the airport but it's a small town so nothing big. Would stay here again.

Great but can Improve more”
The place is great but need more maintenance. We avail the deluxe hoping that meron syang something special like jacuzzi but its not working. Food is worth the price. Location is best kahit malayo sa town proper at least you can find peace of mind near the beach. Staffs are hospitable and always there to help. We really enjoy our stay. Hope there’s more improvement on our next visit.

Exceptional”
I booked standard room for my brothers and according to them they really enjoy the place and the food. The only problem they had was the aircon that seems not properly maintain. Mas malamig pa daw outside compare to their room. But it’s not a big deal naman since it can be replace. Overall great naman and you will definitely enjoy your stay.

Better than expected”
Had difficulty finding the place as the sign posts are limited. However, it was better than expected after that. Basic facilities and we arrived in the offseason when they're still undergoing renovation. Food was good, with good sized serves. Rooms small, but clean, and the a/c was powerful. Staff were the high point and very friendly and helpful. Beach out front would be great for long walks, but didn't have time this trip.

We had a good price, so we were happy with our stay. The food was good value and the staff were extremely obliging and attentive to our extra requests. Thank you. We had some trouble with air con and plumbing in the family room, so were moved to smaller separate rooms and staff compensated with a fridge and jug. The beach was safe and pleasant, but it's some distance from town, which is limited in itself, and there's nothing else on location. If you just want a safe, private, peaceful beach break, the breezy dining room with sea view is very pleasant, you can swim and the beds are comfortable.

I wish”
The location and premises are gorgeous, we just wanted to chill and be close to the airport for a night before an early flight... Unfortunately, despite the staff being lovely and helpful, it was not it. Cockroaches - thank not in our room! - dirty premises, leaking toilets (we asked for towels to precent a catastrophe!), not so clean bathroom (poop in the toilet when we checked in, empty shampoo poach in the shower, leaking shower, etc...) it was just not clean. And we were the only guests! Now the location on the beach is great and quiet, the staff is EXTREMELY FRIENDLY and there is a free shuttle to the airport. Please take better care of this small hotel, it has such potential!!!!

My Stay at the Villa”
My stay was very pleasant. The staff are nice and very accommodating. The place is clean and the bed is comfortable with nice linen. The location is nice and quiet, little far from the "Poblacion" but tricycle is always available. However, food choices are limited. For breakfast you can only choose from 4 kinds of "silog" and for restaurant menu, most are not available because of their limited stock and supply so what we did is to order in advance. Their pizza is good and their "sisig is deliciously crunchy". :)

Villa Paulina Review”
Great location. Rooms ok. Manager very helpful but general staff need training. Taxi service by car available at extra cost. Provides excellent service completive price. Food for me coupled with an influx of mosquitos took the shine off. Having said that I will return again in the future

Nice view. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed, hot shower. Overall good experience, but insects during February nights made it less than enjoyable to remain outside and enjoy the beach.
