you think you booked a simple stay, actually you booked a caring family experience.”

the pillar of this place is Roberto and his wife, amazing people that will help you to make your stay confortable and help you discover the area beyond expectations, property is clean, well located close to all major attractions like the whale Sharks interaction center, firefly tour …etc with an exotic and sweet atmosphere, addictive. add to this their restaurant with best menu hundreds kilometers arround.
at the end of the stay, you will not want to go back home.

Amazing place a bit back from the sea front”

We loved this place!! Roberto and his wife runs the place and they're so friendly! Roberto gave us loads of tips on what to do in the area and arranged a scooter rental for us. One evening he even let us use his own scooter for free to go see the fireflies. We arrived a bit too early in the whale shark season and they didn't seem to have arrived yet. Roberto and his wife clearly have some great plans for the place, but with their very reasonable prices of course everything won't be perfect so soon after the pandemic. The accompanying restaurant is amazing! The burgers especially are great and it's so cheap as it also caters to locals! We didn't even consider eating anywhere else!
Room is a little basic/empty but there's plans to put in a TV and a table to make it feel more complete.

We were looked after so well here. The staff are so attentive and friendly; ensuring our stay was always comfortable and enjoyable. the beds were really comfortable and the rooms nice and air conditioned. Roberto was so lovely and helped make Donsol one of our favourite places we travelled in the Philippines in over 6 weeks. The food and drink in the restaurant is unreal as well!

Perfect small family hotel with a great restaurant”

Beautiful, family run Inn, just on the edge of Donsol. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant with very well priced food, which is extremely tasty and friendly staff.
The hotel is fairly simple, but the rooms are large, beds comfortable and staff extremely friendly. We loved this place.

Rooms are huge which was great, property has a restaurant with delicious food and reasonable prices. It is really a place with a character that would recommend everyone to stay. We hoped to see whale sharks but unfortunately we arrived too late in the season, but non the less we enjoyed our stay in vila peralta that much that we extended our stay there for an extra two days!
Great place to stay and eat, I can't think of anything that I didn't like

Nice place and good value for the money”

Roberto, the owner, made my stay really joyful. His hospitality is like from another star and he helps with everything. He brought me to the place to see the fireflies and chatting with him was fun. The food in the restaurant is very delicious, especially the homemade burgers. The rooms are big enough and for the money you pay it is valuable. Still it needs some improvements and Roberto knows and is working on it. Everything worked such as aircon and hot shower.
Very low water pressure, but he soon will install a pump to fix it. Sometimes bad smell out of the sink.

Good place in Donsol”

Nice place with big rooms and warm welcom from Roberto. The restaurant is convenient and gives a lively atmosphere. Bonus point because the price for quality is much better than the other places around (for AC room). The dive center and whale shark center are at 30min walk and 50pesos by tricycle. Tricycle are easy to find in the morning to go there. A little hard to find in the afternoon and later to come back.
Laundry service much too expensive (around 300p for 3kg (+/-). Bed sheets not big enough for 2 persons. Noisy Aircon.

Very nice owner but rooms should be clean”

The owner Roberto was very kind. He even spent me some beer one night. The location is okay, about 1 km to the whale shark center and same to the city center. Easy to do with trike. It's not too loud during the night although it's at the main street.
I'm sorry, but I need to be honest. I don't need a fancy room, but it's very basic. The A/C is extremely loud and it's not really working. The water tap from the bathroom sink is so small that I wasn't able to wash my hands. The water pressure is very poor. But all that would've been a big problem and I know that it's pretty hard for the owners during pandemic times to effort better stuff. The problem for me was the dirt. The room didn't seem to be cleaned very properly. There was lots of Gecko poop everywhere. Even at the bathroom sink (which led me to the fact it wasn't cleaned at all) and at the small table in the room. I know I'm German and maybe a bit more mindful of hygiene than others, but proper cleaning should be the easiest way to make a room comfortable. Normally I would rate the hotel way lower, but as Roberto was such a nice guy I don't want to harm too much.

Roberto and his family are super nice hosts. The place is very conveniently located in Donsol if you want to do the whale shark tour and visit the surroundings. They allowed us early check in and late check out. Roberto helped us to manage transportation and was very friendly. They have a restaurant, which is very nice. The rooms are clean and have AC and hot water. Totally recommend it!
the water pressure was not very strong, but I think it’s normal in Philippines, and still, ok to take showers

Lovely place to stay with incredibly kind staff and owner. The food in the restaurant was delicious and with a huge variety for vegans and vegetarians. Roberto, the owner, helped us with everything we needed and gave us plenty of pointers for our stay in Donsol and in the wider Albay region. It was a lovely place to have some intimate and peaceful time but with sufficient opportunities to connect with other travellers!
