Decent and affordable”
I did not stay but booked for my relatives - a family with small children. They didn't have any complaints during their stay. It was decent for a local provincial pensio house.

Hotel was fairly decent and good value for the money/rate. It is ideally located and fairly quiet. There is no Wifi in the rooms; you have to go to the lobby to get connectivity which is free.

pros: good location; cons: mosquitoes everywhere”
It was good for an overnight stay however big mosquitoes were roaming everywhere in the room. We just found out the next day that the windows (covered with curtains) were not closed properly allowing mosquitoes to access.

Very Bad room, dirty, broken shower & toilet door”
We came a bit late at night because we were taking a ferry from Dumaguete..we took the most expensive room for me and my husband, but it was not worthed at all..the room was very dirty,it needs some more maintenance,the toilet door was broken, and shower was tied because also broken..It was the worst hotel we ever stayed.

Relaxing stay at villa pilar, breakfast was fine. Rooms were clean and spacious enough. Just across the place is the beach and is just walking distance or Just a tricycle ride to places of interests in dapitan.

Very Pleasant 4-day stay”
When you step out from the hotel, you will be greeted by a great view of the beach with black sparkling sand, even though it is located in the boulevard it is very peaceful but just a 3-minute walk, you'll be in a commercial area of Gloria de Dapitan that has several restaurants, banks and leisure facilities, and a themed park. The location of this hotel is very ideal, and the rooms are really big and clean.

lousy food, 10 pm explosions from gloria's fun park. took 1 hour to get two eggs no wifi, no room phone. room right next to front desk. no privacy. noisy outside. never again. no credit cards. furniture in the room era 1960's. dirty, no water pressure. no hot water.
