The hotel is outside the ancient town area, but you can walk there within 15 mins. The TV,air cpn and telephone in the room we stayed were all not working, and there is only one thin blanket. If just stayed for 1 night, that's pretty worthwhile with that lower rate .

Decent location and solid hotel overall”
The Vinh Hung 2 is a solid place to stay. It's fairly close to the center of Hoi An, and takes about 5-10 minutes to walk into the heart of Hoi An where all the tailors, shops, restaurants and river are located. The staff are very friendly and customer-service oriented. They recommended a tailor to us, but it was the most expensive one we got a quote from ($160 for a suit, whereas we finally went to a place that cost $80 for a suit). I'm not sure if they have a connection to this tailor, but they didn't pressure us into buying from them. The breakfast buffet in the morning is average, nothing super exciting about it. It has both Western and Eastern options which is nice. The pool looked nice, but we didn't go in it.

I have visited Hoi An many times as a weekend away from Hanoi where I live and I like to try a new hotel every time. Ving Hung 2 is my favourite hotel this far. Stay at Ving Hung 2 if you like to stay in a tourist class hotel close to the city center and the shopping streets. The beds are much softer than in most Vietnamese hotels. The rooms are small, but charming and nicely decorated, the breakfast has a nice selection, the staff is lovely and the swimming pool is good and so are the sun beds by the swimming pool. I found the hotel to be well worth the money I paid to stay there. As other reviewers have commented before, ask for a room facing away from the streets, because the street outside is busy and the motorbikes are loud.

This hotel was the best we stayed in during our trip to Vietnam, great location, room was clean with nice decor, Breakfast was fantastic, most of all, staff were very friendly and accommodating. We would recommend Vinh Hung 2 to any one we know traveling to Hoi An. Just loved it!

Very central hotel with a pool! ”
Wish we'd found is sooner! We were disappointed by our beach side hotel- esp since the weather wasn't good enough to visit the beach and we were far out of town. On our last night we stayed at Vinh hung 2 and were not disappointed! We had an early morning flight to catch, so the receptionist kindly arranged our taxi transfer and a packed breakfast to take with us (Bananas and boiled eggs!) which was a nice touch. We got a good deal I feel and though we didn't use the pool due to a drop in the weather, it looked very inviting. Our only complaint was that our room was right on the main road and motos could get pretty noisy late at night and first thing. Would stay here again for the location and real hoi an building. Beautiful!

Great Hotel to Stay in Hoi An”
We stayed at the Vinh Hung 2 City hotel for 6 nights and the hotel was in a good location to the ancient city and only 5 min from the riverside, the staff were very friendly and helpful, we organised airport transfer from the airport and back to the airport was only $17US,and was a comfortable car each way, the breakfast was good plenty to eat, the room was ok needs a bit of renovation like the wall paper was a bit shabby, but otherwise we were comfortable in the room, there was not much noise. we would recommend any one to go there we would not hesitate to go back again to this hotel

Best low-cost hotel in Vietnam”
Couldn't of asked more from hotel. For what we paid it was unbelievable. We looked out onto the streets of Hoi An and I can't believe that people are complaining about the business, this is a city, what do you expect. For me it was nice to have a feel of the city while on my balcony. They were so helpful when we needed to book a night bus to Nha Trang. We also in the spur of the moment wanted to stay another night in Hoi An and at this hotel and they made sure we were able to in the same room. Couldn't ask for more. Best hotel in the one of the best places Vietnam has to offer.

Nice and clean hotel in the center of Hoi An. Only 10 minutes walk to the ancient town. My room was nicely decorted but it was very noisy (busy street under my window). Bed was a bit dated and bumpy. Pool was nice! The best thing in this hotel is breakfast. The best I have had on my journey in Vietnam and Cambodia (staying in 2 or 3 star hotels only). They have bread, eggs (any kind), bacon, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, pancakes... So yummy! And the staff is lovely and helpful. I would definitely stay here again...but ask for better bed and room from the pool side.

Our stay was complemented with their throrough advice of places to visit, car rental, and other assistance. They also provide complementary breakfast. Pleasant stay, nice hotel”
i spent 5 nights at vinh hung 2 and enjoyed my stay very much. i had a suite room, which was quite spacious and nicely decorated. it overlooked the street and was very bright. the window was soundproof enough so the noise was not a problem. the staff was friendly and helpful. there was free wifi in the room and free computers in the lobby. the location was convenient, 5-10 mn from the historical center.

although we only stayed one night i would reccommend this hotel if you are staying longer in hoi an. the staff are very helpful, rooms are very pleasant,nice homely atmosphere,pool is lovely. the hotel is close to restaurants & the night markets.breakfast was very good, nice selection.the hotel has 3 floors & no lift but the stairs are wide & we had no trouble with them even though we are in our 60's & just over a hip replacement.the porter brought our luggage up for us.it's about 5klm to the beach but we did'nt go there so can't comment.
