Spacious but needs improvement”
Stayed here with my brothers for a week while my one brother is recuperating from surgery and waiting for a follow up checkup with his surgeon. The property is spacious, it has laundry space and has stove and kitchen utensils. Airconditioned as well. The downside is it really needs some improvement in terms of cleanliness. Their cabinets have molds and the lavatory is leaking. The owner is nice. He drove us to the clinic for free when we checked out.

5 stars is not enough to recommend Violin Mountain. Super sulit ang stay namin sa affordable na price. Malaki ang room kaya kasya kaming 5. Yung taas halos di na namin nagamit. Pwedeng pwede pa sa 10pax ito. Sobrang bait din ng may ari hinatid pa kami for free sa airport tapos ayaw tumanggap ng tip. Kaya sa mga sususnod na balik namin at available sila dito uli kami magstay sobrang sulit yung binayad namin

The owner Ms. Shine was so kind and easy to talk to. She was able to allow us to check out late without additional fee. They have free airport service which is good thing for travelling with family and big group. Highly recommended if you're looking for affordable place in Dumaguete.

Building is a bit old. Room cabinets have foul smell. Bed sheets are stained. Location is difficult to find. And it took us 15 mins to wake up the owner at 4:30 am to open the locked gate so we can go out catch our early morning boat schedule, even if we had arranged for an early check out. :(

The Best Apartment to Stay at!!”
The apartment is behind Gabbys Bed and breakfast. The owner Miss Shine is friendly and very accommodating. We are a group of 3 and we got a 2 bedroom apartment. Pros >2minute walk to ride a trike/tricycle >5-10 minute walk to canteen/carinderya's , grocery store, Chantilly Cake Haus was a 5minute walk. >the 2 bedroom apartment can fit up to 6 guests >We got extra towels which is important since we came from Manila and most of our time are spent out on our beach tours and Manjuyod Sandbar. Miss Shine was kind enough to grant us extra towels. >Free wifi >complete kitchen utensils, cookware, free distilled purified water, the only thing that you have to worry is if you will cook, you need to provide your own cooking oil, any food seasonings/spices/condiments. >has a small balcony to do your laundry and hang wash clothes. they already provided powdered detergent and bodywash. The only thing that you need to bring are toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo/conditioner, body soap. Cons >My total room cost in Agoda shows around 2,500ph. I paid the owner around 2,700 pesos. Not a big deal but it could have been better if it was clearly advertise on Agoda if there was a price change. FYI - The owner does not speak in Tagalog. It was a mistake that I made when I got the owner's contact number for the check in schedule, I was speaking in tagalog. Overall we had a very pleasant stay at Violin Mountain and this is the perfect apartment if you are on a budget and do not want to spend in a hotel but gets a better service. This property is family friendly and also if you are travelling as a couple or with group of friends.

Affordable, spacious two-bedroom unit”
The place isn't close to the main road so it's relatively quiet. Despite that, it's still accessible by pedicab. It's near Gabby's Bed and Breakfast so you can always tell the driver to take you there. There was free drinking water, shampoo, conditioner, and soap in the place. You're not allowed to cook, but there are utensils that you can use if you order takeout. The price was very reasonable for such a big place.
