Asakusa View Hotel
Asakusa,Asakusa - View on map
"The room of this hotel for the Quadruple room is bigger than the normal Japanese hotel's room.4 people and 4 24"luggages, the room still has free space to be a little living room. The only thing that I'm quite wondering why 4-star hotel-like Asakusa View hotel hasn't got any fitness room for their guest?? The hotel has a fitness center for their MEMBER only but not allow for their hotel's guests. How weird it is!! In my opinion, the location is not as good as I expected. The nearest train is the Tsukuba line, which is the local line from MORIYA to AKIHABARA. That means if you want to travel in Tokyo by JR line. You always take Tsukuba line from Asakusa to Akihabara and then you can take whatever train both JR and Local line to go on. It wastes your time so much to do that or you must walk around 1 KM. through Senso-ji Temple to take Ginza line or Asakusa line. So if your concern about your transportation maybe this hotel is not suitable for your style."

Via Inn Asakusa
Asakusa,Asakusa - View on map
"the bluewave inn asakusa exceeded our expectations in every way. the staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are very clean and well-maintained, making it a great place to return to after a long day out. for us hair aficionados, we have your own stock of shiseido shampoo and conditioner. its proximity to train stations served by tokyo metro (ginza line) and toei (asakusa line) subway lines, it is a convenient location to base yourself for sightseeing. the area of asakusa is definitely worth visiting, the best part of staying here though, must be its proximity to the beautiful sensoji temple. though not necessary, we always walked to and from the station through the temple grounds to return to the hotel. i would certainly return to stay here, if only for this very privilege. The Gate Hotel Asakusa Kaminarimon by Hulic

"It is a very great and new hotel. I like the Slumberland mattress and very comfortable Japanese brand feather and down pillows and comforters. I stayed in this hotel 3 nights but I didn't want to wake up for every morning. I came back to my country and tried to purchase the same mattress but the seller said this model is exclusive for hotel only :-( Needless to say the location of this hotel is super good. There are 3 important things to do in Asakusa. Asakusa temple, Skytree, Cruise to Daiba. It just takes 5 mins walking distance from subway station to hotel. Temple and ferry terminal are also 100 and 200 meters from hotel. Please don't waste your time to take any Skytree pictures in the street since the 13/F hotel lobby floor is the best angle to view the tower! ( lobby window is super clean and transparent ...) I really suggest you to choose this hotel in your last few days of your Tokyo trip like me (b/c it is far away from western shopping and nightlife area likes Shibuya, Shinjuku... I would like to thanks Mr/Ms. Erika from the hotel. He/she replied my request point by point after I booked the rooms from Agoda before my trip. It never happen for so many previous hotel bookings from Agoda before. Many thanks for your good service! I will choose this hotel again if I stay in Asakusa."

Smile Hotel Asakusa
Asakusa,Asakusa - View on map
"Nothing much to be complaining for sucha spacious room, it fitted a closet, a dressing table, a queensize, a bath.. everything you can ask for a good stay.. Room is accompanied with LAN cable to go online, if you need wireless/WI-FI, get your ass to the lobby, ask the staff for the password and sit at the couch for as long as you surf.. Housekeeping ends at 1pm, so better to get out before that or you can jolly well skip that.. The hotel staff really call to enquire if you need housekeeping or not, they won't hang up until you answer.. lolll, i treated them as my 'morning' call before I head out.. There's a lawson/convenient store across the junction.. Restaurants close before 8.30pm so better settle dinner before that, or else lawson can be your next bestfriend.. Also, if you can get a map of asakusa district, you can find your way to the temple and a shopping street just around the corner, say maybe 10 minutes walk.. It's a touristy area, and gets populated every weekends, extremely!! How do you get to the hotel, if you travel to Haneda airport, take the keikyu express line direct to asakusa, about 40~60minutes. You must alight at Asakusa station of the Asakusa/Toei line, exit A5 facing the street turn left and keep walking straight.. You will pass the next big 4 road junction, that's exactly the tourist/temple attraction area, you will also meet a big shopping mall Matsuya and another train station by tokyo metro, TOBU line.. Cross over and head straight on the right of Matsuya, you will see Macdonalds on the opposite side of the road.. Walk stright until you meet another big 5 road junction, you can see Tokyo next big attraction SKY TREE. Cross the road again, keep walking straight you will see the hotel, it's about a 20~30mins walk.. It's horrendous to by dragging all your luggage to the hotel, so as much as I know, good luck!! "

Hotel Keihan Asakusa
Asakusa,Asakusa - View on map
"This hotel location is really convenient about 5 Minute walk to Asakusa Station (Tsukuba express subway line) that can be use to transit or travel to major JR line station like JR Akihabara station. Close to many famous tourist attraction within walking distance like 浅草寺, Sensōji or know as Asakusa Kannon Temple, Tokyo Skytree, Hanayashiki Amusement Park, Sumida Park, etc (Tokyo Skytree is a bit far) Plenty of local shop and restaurant around the hotel you can choose from genuine Japanese style food to fast food like MC Donald. Hotel room is clean comfy well equipped with everything you need but a bit small (Typical Japanese hotel room), Staff is really friendly and helpful, I'd ask one of the staff how to get to Tokyo Bigsight he's not only give me direction but print the map from website and give it to me. All staff are really polite."

Kawase Hotel

"I had a nice stay in the hotel. Its in the very close vicinity of the old part of Tokyo Asakusa. Really good and low cost noodle restaurants in the area. Through the subway system any part of the city can be reached in a relatively short time."
