Hotel Art Stay Naha Kokusai Street
Naha,Naha - View on map
"ive stayed in over 20 hotels in Japan in the past year and this is by far the best. it is located a few steps away from Kokusai Dori, the heart of Naha, yet is so peaceful and quiet at night. it’s convenient to travel to other parts of okinawa from here and i love how huge the room is- way larger than Japan’s standards. it is also really clean. with subway tiles in the toilet, there are too many grouts none had mold (i am anal like that). apart from one staff with pony-tail and dyed yellowish hair, all the staff are super helpful and polite. a very child-friendly hotel that provides pillows and body wash in cute dispensers for free and has a little lego play area at the lobby for kids! parking is also easy even though there are no carparks in the building. just behind the hotel is a carpark. despite it being small, i never had difficulties getting a lot regardless of what time i came back at. parking is cheap too at ¥1000 a day! LOISIR HOTEL NAHA
Naha,Naha - View on map
"Easy access from the airport and also to the ferry port where I usually take ferry to Okinoerabu island to visit my parents. My 7 yrs. son really enjoys the saltwater indoor pool while I enjoy their natural hot spring spa which is unusual to have in down town Naha hotel. Their big souvenir shop, convenience store, and my favorite apparel store save my time to walk down to Kokusai-dori (down town). Highly recommended hotel."

Smile Hotel Okinawa Naha

"Breakfast simple and good. Location is near to Tomarin Port. And there's a bus stop for public buses for Naha Airport (20mins) , or if travelling north towards Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium (1.5hrs) Reception Staff is very helpful and clear with map/directions. Recommended! "

Okinawa Nahana Hotel & Spa
Naha,Naha - View on map
"The location is great, just minutes walk from the international street, Kokusai Dori. You can find souvenir shops, local restaurants with Okinawa cuisine. It is a long street end to end. It is very near to the airport, just 15 mins by monorail. The hotel has 2 car rental companies along the back, Sky car rental - which is very expensive and they do not have english GPS nor english speaking staff, and Mazda Car Rental. Mazda does not have english GPS as well, but their prices are much more reasonable. In the end I asked at the hotel concierge and with their help managed to secure a car for 2 days from OTS (which is a very big company) for a very good decent price with English GPS. It was a breeze driving around, just have to input the phone number of the place you are heading to!! OTS have a big site just off the airport and they run a shuttle to get you to the airport every 10 mins, therefore best to return to their airport site. Breakfast at Nahana is cheapest in town at Yen 1000 with a coupon from the front desk, ask when you check in. The spread is very good and adequate, didnt have to wait long for top ups and the omelette chef is very good. I drove from Naha to Sun Marina and stopped along Yomitan which is famous for their pottery and kilns. Had a good time there, especially with small kids and need a stop in between for lunch and a bit of walking around. If you are heading to Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, best to purchase individual or family tickets from OTS or Lawson / Family Mart, it is at a discount vs if you were to purchase them at the counter at the aquarium. Will save you a tidy sum! Best to rent a car and will need an international driving license plus your home country driving license. Getting around in Okinawa is a challenge without a rental car and taxis are very few and expensive outside of Naha. The Aquarium is 60 km from Naha and there is no direct bus, you will have to change bus at Nago, which is a hassle esp if you have kids i"

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Naha Omoromachi
Naha,Naha - View on map
"The Daiwa group offers pretty good and well managed hotels, too bad they only have hotels in Naha at the moment. This one is slight further away from the walking street 國際通, you have to take 2 stops of monorail to get there or take a taxi. I'd suggestbtontakenthe taxi if you have 3 or more people because the monorail is just simply overpriced imo. There is a huge shopping mall called the Naha Main Place just opposite the hotel (5mins walking) and of course the largest Duty Free Mall for all your luxury needs. I scheduled to stay here for one night before flying back. The Naha Main Place is a local shopping mall, has a huge supermarket with lots of fresh and exciting food. You can also shop for your electronics and clothing there. Clothing brands are Japanese clothing brands and good value for money. This is a rather big hotel offering a lot of rooms, so expect a lot of tourists roaming in and out of the hotel. I enjoy my breakfast in the morning and for the first time I had to actually wait to be seated because the restaurant was so packed with people. And when this happens, food quality goes downhill. I suppose it's peak season, so still a job well done. They offer self service laundry service. 200 Yen for wash (automatically adds washing liquid for you) and 100 Yen for drying 30 mins. 30 mins was not enough, so to save time to and from the laundry room, put 200 Yen for 60mins. They have a paid car park service where you park your car into the parking lift. 1000 Yen per day (up to 11am the next day), unlimited re-entry. Service not available between 1-6am."

Hotel Route Inn Naha Tomariko
Naha,Naha - View on map
"This hotel is definitely my favourite in Naha. It is 3min walk to the ferry terminal and 5min walk to the heart of the city. We were lucky to get a non-smoking room, although booked smoking by mistake. The room is spacious and clean. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet (included) is also a big plus. Compared to the other Route Inn in the city, this one also offers a public bath on the 14th floor. "

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Naha Kokusai-dori
Naha,Naha - View on map
"Good hotel to stay if you rent a car from Times Rental. You can just pickup or rerurn your car at the same carpark of the hotel, especially when you are traveling with full load of luggage from the North back to Naha. You can also take the Yui Rail directly from the lobby doorstep to Naha airport. "

Hotel New Okinawa
Naha,Naha - View on map
"The value-priced hotel is located directly on the busiest street, Kukosaidori, in Naha and near most of the major markets there. This alone is worth the price, despite the extremely cramped living quarters and bathroom. However, there is more than enough to do in the surrounding neighborhood, which is the most festive part of town, so you wouldn’t really be spending much time in the hotel room anyway. There were at least 100 restaurants and bistro’s as well as several hundred shops and stores nearby. The hotel is also conveniently located near a monorail station. Another fantastic bonus was the hotel’s Japanese-style breakfast which was superb in selection and taste, far exceeding what one could ever expect from such an economically-priced, budget hotel. "

Hotel Sun Palace Kyuyokan
Naha,Naha - View on map
"Solo traveled to Naha from July 28th to August 4th and stayed at Sun Palace Kyuyokan. I am very pleased with the experience. The location is just 200 meters from the monorail and close to both the ports and the bus terminal. The hotel itself is rather small and old, but very charming! The staff was very nice and friendly and I really felt like the hotel became my little home whilst away. The Hotel offers breakfast for it's guests and that was also really nice. There are plenty to do in Naha and the hotel was very conveniently located to everything I did. Great value for my money, I recommend this place if traveling and want to live both nice and inexpensive! "
