A perfect place to stay. ”
I slept in this newly opened hostel amd wasn't sure because i couldn't see any reviews on the booking app or on Google maps. I strongly recommend this hostel not only for a transit, but for your stay in ho chi minh. The staff is great, the beds are so comfortable that you just don't want to leave the hotel. The cubicles are equipped with a light and plug for your cell phone and there is a curtain ypu can use for total privacy. The building is in perfect condition. Not one trace of mold like you often see is asia. They allowed me to do a really early check in at 6am! The towels too are in mint condition and there are really large safea where you can put the biggest luggage. i paid 6$ for the night and i really don't regret it. It's coveniently situated in a very vivid neighborhood but the rooms are very quiet. The place is great! Quoi dire? J'hésitais parce que je voyais aucun commentaire sur l'application de réservation. Ca a ouvert y'a un mois! L'immeuble et matériel sont neufs, les lits super confortables. Lea cubes avec rideaux sont milles fois mieux qu'un espace ouvert et équipés avec rideau, lumière et prise électrique. On a de gros casiers avec clefs pour les bagages les plus volumineux. On m'a permis une arrivée à 6 heures du mat. L'emplacement est ideal et la salle de bain niquel! Je le recommande chaudement!! Good Service, Great Location, Best Value”
Vy Da 2 has the perfect location to bring you to popular spots in Hi Chi Minh but there is much to discover. Walking around you’d discover better cafes and food spots not usually mentioned by travel sites. Apart from the location, its best feature is its (bunker) bed. It is very comfortable and you get your own private space in a room of six. Staff are friendly and very helpful. They’re always ready to help. During my last day, the manager helped me contact my booked car. Just a recommendation: The hostel could probably have their bathrooms cleaned twice a day. Some guests are just unsanitary. I have minor issues with loud gursts but not the fault of the hostel at all. I highly recommend this hostel at District 1 for solo travellers and small groups. Worth every hard-earned money.

Dear Manager of Vy Da Backpackers Hostel 2 I am very happy and pleased to stay in your hostel for a few days. I would like to stay more for the following reasons: 1. The hostel is in the center and good price to stay. 2. The receptionists and housemaids are very friendly and nice. Especially, I would like to say thank you to Ms Thao Vi. She is a kind hearted girl and always willing to help me. I can see she has good behaviors and greets the guests at the door. She explains the services well and talks to the guests in a nice way. She is good at English, too. She is caring, sweet, polite, hard-working and tries to listen and understands my problems and is open to find the best solutions. I appreciate her attitudes and efforts. 3. The owner is kind and helpful. 4. The bed is comfortable enough to sleep in. I would like to stay here and I will introduce your hostel to my friends, Vietnamese and foreigners.

Clean hostel with super friendly staff”
I stayed here in January and it was an awesome stay as this was the first time I stayed in a hostel in Ho Chi Minh. I'm glad I chose this place. The bed is spacious and the room is clean. If I don't remember wrong, there are 4 separated bathrooms with toilet inside on each floor. The bathrooms are clean. The hostel is just 15 minute walk to Ben Thanh market but it's off the main Street so it is quite. The staff was very friendly and I loved to get the free bottle of water from drawing from the bucket of tickets. Even though it was not much but it was fun and I felt welcoming. In the morning, I had breakfast on the rooftop which was basic bread and fried egg but it was yummy. The owner was super friendly and he seemed to know all his guests. He just sat down and chatted to everybody. I only stayed there for 1 night but it was a great stay. I would definitely recommend this hostel.

Exceptional”
Host is really friendly. But we couldn't stay in Chy Chy Saigon Hostel because it was under construction. So we had to move another hostel whose host is same. We was really stumped by this situation. They didn't notice me that until arriving there. However, everything was good except for it. The hostel we've stayed is Vy Da Backpackers Hostel.

This hostel has very nice room with large bed and curtain. Their staff are very friendly and very helpful. The owner of this hostel make me breakfast and nice vietnam coffee. He is very humble and friendly person. If you want to visit ho chi minh, you must book this hostel. Cheap price but very high quality of service.

Perfect for your first time in HCMC”
I ended up staying here for a week. The pod type beds were great (huge!) and you could get a good amount of privacy, although the blind is a bit see-through. I think for your first time in HCMC, this is the perfect location: away from the noise of Bui Vien but still super close, and also in easy walking distance of the city centre. I have to say after a week I got a bit tired of the area and ended up moving hostels, but I much preferred the peacefulness of Vy Da 2 in the end. Only thing to be aware of is that online it still says they offer breakfast which they don’t, but there’s plenty places nearby :)

Awesome hostel - great location”
I had a super great time staying at Vy da 2. The bed is really comfortable and good enough for 2. There is privacy as it is like a capsule hostel, especially when you use the curtain/blind. The breakfast is simple but tasty, and the rooftop is really a nice place for breakfast or just chilling out.

Best hostel yet”
I am a frequent traveller but I have to say, with certainty, this is the best hostel I've stayed in yet. It's very clean and new and well-maintained. It's close (about 5 mins) to Bui Vien Street but far enough to not hear all the noise from the drinking area/clubs. Hostel area is quiet and laidback, with the right amount of restaurants and cafes. There is a noodle place in front of the hostel where locals flock - I would totally recommend. The hostel is also very clean, the sleeping decks are quite spacious, there are lots of toilets and shower rooms, and hostel is very affordable. They also have a huge locker enough to store my huge luggage as well as backpack. Breakfast was nice with free noodles and coffee, and it is quite spacious and conducive for laptop and work after breakfast hours. Most of all the wifi was really fast. I have recommended this hostel to my friends as well. Thank you, Tin and Tuan and all the staff for the generosity and warmth! Hope to see you guys again soon!

They have a great hostel. Low prices, private pods great customer service skills. Sounds great we'll of course who doesn't want that. Value with superior options. Where do I sign up!!! I really like the place but one small thing got to me. After you complete room registration you pick a piece of paper out of a fish bowl. Kinda like a hello "thxs for staying" promotion. You can when from a free water to a Kim travel package. Guess what I won chi chu tunnel tour. Sounds wonderful until you read fine print. It's free but you must pay a tip. Hmm? Now it's not so free is it. I kinda feel oxymoron gimmicks only hurt good companies. Because a free promotion means just that. FREEEEE!!!!. This was not a prize just another bait and switch to henefit an obvious partner or maybe he has interest in this travel company. When I wanted to replace with something else. Answer firmly no. You must go. " Why you no go it's FREE!!! HaHa!! never heard free with a price attached unless it's BS!! THXS!!!

Great dorm and even some privacy”
Dorm were great, beds were clean, lockers were spacious and the 7th floor roof top terrace had very nice views over Ho Chi Minh City. We bought bus tickets to Phnom Penh through them and the company and the trip was all good. During our 16 hour stay we met 3 different receptionists and 2 of them were good. However, 1 of them called us back after we had already left and insisted that they had paid the deposit twice, and that I must pay them back. She claimed that she gave the other deposit to my girlfriend and the other to me. I told them it's impossible because she insisted a receipt when she was giving the deposit so it was a direct swap. She only let go when I asked them to see the security camera footage.

Best capsule hostel”
This might have been the best hostel I’ve stayed at. All amenities are very well-thought out. I stayed here for three nights. It was super quiet and comfortable! The bed and lockers are spacious! The staff are also very friendly and sweet - especially Vy, she’s great ! :) The only two things: keep tabs of your receipts (laundry, water, etc) and make sure to separate your whites for laundry. Other than this, I would highly recommend staying here. The rooftop is pretty amazing and free tea/coffee in the mornings.

I had my bag snatched on the street and this hostel helped me a lot. I couldn’t go back to my country without their help. from the policestation to the visa office thing, I wouldn’t be able to do myself in two days. the owner is so so generous and their family also really kind. thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me, Quynh. oh and I gotta say about the hostel. they have an elevator so I could come and go easily. they offer a free towel and exchange to new one whenever I want. every morning hostel keepers clean the hostel. air conditioner works very well, so the room was always cool. the room is not big but have a big locker so you can keep your baggage in there. the bed was comfy and enough big. the hostel is about 5mins to Detam steet by walk. the price is so reasonable.
