Really not a good Homestay ! ”
Peter and Rosita really don't know how to welcome people, let alone how to relate to them. BAD HOSTS...PERIOD While I was asking her for a better room, she was busy counting her money, and selling stuff to another client. She does not know the meaning of 《negociating or making compromise》. He, Peter, is more concerned about fixing the door on his truck, and the water pump, than making shure a taxi comes to pick you up in the morning as he said he would do. Toilets are not clean, nor comfortable, and showers do not provide hot water at all. The 50 meters inclined driveway to get to the building is totally full of slippery thick MUD when wet, (thus dangerous) and holds 3 or 4 old trucks and cars on the side being under repair : looks like a junk yard ! (Not counting the several dogs attached on ropes or chains, BARKING AT YOU ! ). The main living room downstairs and the hallway, are so 《echo》, that we could NOT HAVE QUIETNESS IN OUR ROOM AT ALL. The first evening at around 9h30, I had to get up and firmly ask a group of at least 10 young elementary school teachers, to quiet down, because they were speaking so loudly, and watching T.V. also loudly. Bad place, badly managed, with bad hosts. The only good point is the fantastic view on La Libertad and the 《Valley of strawberries》from the balcony....if you can sustain the rest. Now I understand why our reservation was : NON-REFUNDABLE : Because after one day there, one only wants to leave. My girlfriend and I got stuck there 4 days.

At first I thought this place where good coz they said there's a view of L Presa. Yes they we're right about it, only the view. But going there, nope. Parking? Nope, room? Nope, wifi? Nope. It's limited to a certain place only. Facilities, nope.

If you do not have your own car when traveling to Baguio, do not book a room here. I could have considered the location as okay but I and my friend had a lot of inconveniences when we stayed on the property. First, our room did not have a light bulb. Staff said they'd place one ASAP but until we left, no light bulb was placed. Second, no garbage bin in the room. Third, the bunk bed was not so sturdy so we were not able to use the upper bunk. Shared bathrooms were not enough for the whole ground floor and they could have maintained it clean every day but no they did not. The shared kitchen was not so tidy and the guests just left the utensils unwashed in the sink so, it would have been better if there was a staff that maintains the overall cleanliness in there every day. The only consolation in this place was the view and the roaming around chickens and dogs (if you are an animal lover). If you are traveling solo and would commute back to the property, please consider booking a room in the city proper of Baguio instead (a taxi ride to this place would cost an average of 150 pesos so it would really cost you more). There was a night when we got home quite late and the taxi can't enter the narrow road to the place as a car blocked the road so, we had to walk in. Street dogs barked and flocked at us and it was so dark so we kind of feared for our lives that night. Overall, I think the property can improve its housekeeping services and security.

For those who wanted to avoid the hustle and bustle of Baguio city, this is one of the best place for you. You can cook your own meal or have it delivered thru food Panda and just stay in your flat and enjoy ! If you are coming driving yourself, brace yourself for narrow steep road and a number of higher than usual humps. The flat is big, with TV, fridge, water dispenser and some kitchen wares. The owner can be reached thru her mobile number for any concern.

CR is so clean. The view was breathtaking. Breakfast and dinner was fun beside their chimney. The only downside are the dogs, I suggest it should be separated to the guest.

Not as Expected. No Bedroom Privacy in Rooms with Shared Bathroom ”
The room was small, but the main problem was how people could see into our room (there were large gaps in the window blinds), everything you say even with the bedroom door closed could be heard throughout the entire floor (zero audio privacy… we had to whisper to have a private conversation), and the locks to the bedroom were completely useless because the interior window facing the hallway had no locks! This is not a hotel experience - this is a hostel experience and it should be labeled as such to avoid future problems with guests. The men’s bathroom also smelled absolutely horrendous to the point that it was not usable and I’m understanding of typical bathroom spaces in Phillipines. They also advertised WiFi and there was 0 wifi! So, we had to leave because I work from my computer and get a refund after the first night - very inconvenient with all of our heavy suitcases. The positives were that the view is absolutely stunning and the staff was very nice, but I could not stay there for the view alone. Very disappointing and even traumatic experience overall. I’m really not sure how the score is so high which is why I took a chance on the shared bathroom, but it fell very much below expectations and the ad even was deceptive (no wifi!)

Great value especially that it has the best view. We loved the mountain view, it was the best. Only thing is that the wifi is short range. We cant even get it on our room. The location is also hard to reach because of the narrow and steep road but its worth it. They also charge additional 300 pesos for a dog.

Basic lodge but good facilities, view and family”
We stayed in the basic double with shared bathroom. It was clean and comfortable, but the corridors are noisy. We may have been unlucky but there was a group making noise until midnight. Apart from the room, the homestay is perched on the hillside with beautiful views. WiFi is good in some areas and there is free coffee and use of their kitchen. We ordered Grab food delivery which arrived easily enough. It's a bit isolated though (20 mins drive to town up and down hills), so don't stay here if you plan to potter around town. Taxis can be arranged to take you back to town for about 160 pesos. The family who run the homestay are lovely, very friendly and helpful. If it wasn't for the noise of the other guests, I'd give this 5* as it fulfils all the needs of a peaceful basic lodging.

On the one hand the view is amazing, staff is very friendly and supportive, cleaniliness is fine and you can use a fully function kitchen. Those are the pros. However, on the other hand expect loud noises from other guests especially at night hours coz no one controls the noise. The trekking trail is very far away, if you wanna eat and no groceries with you, you have to order food. Maybe beacuse I'm a foregneir those beds especially those mattreses there are very uncomfortable. (basically peace of wood with a thin mattress).

we almost didn't stay in the homestay super lakas kase ng ulan pero sinundo kame ni tita host, sobrang thankful we got to experience amazing stay, salamat sa pasensya..will definitely go back, ganda ng place, overview sa city and super lameg which we want to take in all the sariwang hangin. mabaet din mga aso and neighborhood super tahimik recommended sa mga looking for peace of mind. genern away sa stress tlga nakakahinga ng maluwag na wala ka isipin.sorry sa nobela.we enjoy!
