Big room with convenient location”
Stayed in the family room. The room is big and very convenient to travel around Kamakura. The staffs are very helpful. The only issue is we went during Summer time and the curtain is not thick enough to cover sunlight which can be too bright for us to sleep on morning 3-4am.

Great experience in this hotel and kamarura. Clean. Comfortable stays. The lobby is so great, nice decoration and a lot of books. You can also just sit there all day if you want. Will stay here again for sure.

A day in our lives”
We had a day off from Tokyo and decided to visit the Large Bhuda in Kamakura. It was a nice trip, there lots of things to see and do. The hostel is quite good, nice and clean, lovely staff.

Good but needs improvement”
Its a new and stylish capsule hotel. Im so happy with the complimentary class. Its a quite small space for the room I barely can open my luggage. And my bed is right next to the dorm door, there was some problem with the door lock, it didn't close or open easily. Even I don't mind the noise at all as it's a capsule hotel, the noise of 5 doors in my room was unbearable! And everything else which normally shall be available in a capsule hotel was charged extra, 500yen for luggage deposit after check out. Oh the light in the toilet was broken, and the tap was broken too. I suggest this hotel managemeny to pay more attention to details and improve guest experience. Besides all, it's a nice place!

Well equipped and located”
The hostel is located conveniently close to Yuigahama station on the Enoden line as well as very close to the beach. The staff speak good English, the place is very clean and the facilities are nice. The common bath is a bit small and could get crowded at certain times (can host maybe max 7/8 people at a time). The hostel comes also with a nice cafe where you can get some food and drinks.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The beach is easily accessible from the hotel. However, the restaurant have limited menu and I was not able to enjoy the meals because of my allergies. Other than that, everything was nice and comfortable.

The facilities, staff are great. Except The design of the room (I stayed in Dorm) allow too much noises to fill in sleep room. Sound proofing of wall non existent, washroom are right outside, for light sleepers you get constantly woke up by doors, walking, talking in and outside.

Terrible Booking and Check In Experience”
The only option at check out was to pay at the hotel. The rooms were sold out. I called Agoda to charge my card on file for the booking. I was going to pay for my family's trip. I've had exchanges of emails with Agoda on top of 4-5 phone calls to make sure that I will pay for the stay. A few hours later I received messages from my family (I'm not with them) that the hotel said that I did not pay and...the hotel made my family pay before they were checked in! Very, very terrible! I made all the phone calls and back and forth with Agoda to avoid having problems when my family checks in, but that foreseen problem was the very thing that had happened. Agoda couldn't help me anymore so I finally contacted the hotel (about 5 am local time - Japan) and was told that the on-site payment could not be reversed or refunded. Very awful experience! I've encountered this situation with other booking sites maybe once or twice but never did I have any problems whatsoever regarding booking and payment. If I could give 0 rating, I would.

Great facilities and friendly staff”
The location is perfect for the beach. It is also 1.1km walk to big Buddha and less than 2km walk to Komachi Dori. Obviously there are trains, taxis and bikes that can get you there faster, but the point is things are pretty near by. The cafe adjoining webase has a pretty simple and tasty breakfast for 500yen, but the other offerings seem way over priced.....however I can't speak to the quality, so maybe it is fairly priced if the quality is on par There is a machine in the lounge area that sells that sweet sweet Asahi and koyougetsu nectar. My only complaint here would be that they aren't the coldest when you purchase them. This is easily resolved by buying them in advance and popping them in the freezer/fridge while sitting around a table playing games and talking. The way the rooms are labeled on this site is a bit confusing. I booked a room for three people and ended up with a room for four (but they were not going to put another person in the room :shrug:)

Very lux hostel”
Hostel is literally brand new with modern facilities including a spacious restaurant and common bath house (an artificial onsen). Beds were very comfortable. Lockable cabinet in rooms. Breakfast was included and was very basic (toast, cereal, juice, tea) but still nice. Hostel is a little far from Kamakura station (20 minute walk) if you have big bags, but there is an Enoden (local train) stop 5 minutes away that connects to kamakura station. This was easily the nicest hostel I've ever stayed in. Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience”
Only stayed here one night but it was everything I needed after a long day of exploring Kamakura. The bed was roomy and linens clean, there was a good sized storage locker in the room, bathrooms and toilets were super clean. The shower facilities were in the basementand they were separated, male and female, each one with multiple private shower shalls and a shared bathtub (onsen) which was phenomenal. They even supplied shampoo/conditioner and soap on each shower! Breakfast was simple but good in the beautiful cafe on the first floor. And the front desk spoke English. You will not go wrong staying here

Amazing hostel stay”
I had a very late flight and webase was able to check in me well pass midnight. It was a short 10 min walk from the station. The bunk beds had more than enough space. There was a locker in the room as well to store your stuff. It had all the necessities and amenities. Everything was very modern and clean. The complementary breakfast was an added bonus. It was my first time staying in a hostel and i highly recommend this place.

Probably one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! Very clean(everything's new since it just started to operate a week ago), great location (just 2 mins away from the beach) helpful staff and great amenities. Really enjoyed my stay there! Highly recommended, I'll definitely be coming back for the yoga class too, if I were to visit kamakura again:)

Webase is really good hostel, very cheap but the enviormemt is really nice. It's quite big and the facilities is good. And, the location is good which is not far away from station. Also, it's quite near by the beach but a little distance with Lawson. Totally is good!

The building was exceptionally beautiful and it was very near to the beach. There was also a good restaurant nearby. Though you need a bit walk from the Enoden station. Highly recommended for an economical and relaxing stay in Kamakura.
