The problem with the hotel is that the did not inform us that there will power interruption for the whole day. There is no light and no water. We had to leave and spent time in Starbucks just to wait for the power to be up. Breakfast was a delivery from a nearby " tapsilog" store Its a Pity they have a nice room but the service and facilities are poor. And its far from the main city

We were disappointed when we found out that they turn off the electricity after we left the room. When we got back to pick up our powerbanks, they were not charged. They lied initially that there was a problem with just our unit but the other room complained the same. So i guess, it is not a glitch but a practice. No complimentary bottled water. They just lead their guests to a common water dispenser downstairs. Parking was inconvenient as they have to wake you up in case someone needs to get out. They wont even let guests park in the parking space for check-ins.

Minimalist-Modern Motorist Hotel in Laoag”
To sum it all up: PROS 1. Very near Laoag City Center - by car, it only takes 2 minutes to the city center (without traffic) - since tricycles are passing by the highway, it's pretty easy to commute from the hotel as well - all you have to do is walk 5 meters from the hotel to the highway. 2. Minimalist-modern design rooms - the room assigned to us was pretty new. We we're given the Triple Sharing room with an extra double bed so 5 of us could fit in. I have to commend the fixtures of their bathrooms as well as the aircondition and cable TV. I'm quite picky when it comes to bathrooms but I enjoyed their rain shower - I only wished there's a glass divider for the toilet but overall I'm satisfied. 3. Good size parking space - some rooms have their own private parking slot covered with curtains which I find really nice. We we're assigned to the outdoor parking but we're very much satisfied with it. Much better than other hotels who only offer street parking. 4. Reasonable rates - self-explanatory. Check out Laoag City Center hotel rooms for 5 people via Agoda/Booking.com and you'll know what I mean. CONS 1. Staff needs more training - since the hotel is pretty new, I have a feeling that the staff are still pretty much trying to find a way to smoothen out their operations. During one of the nights we stayed, they were fully booked but I heard other customers complaining about the lack of pillows and blankets. We always have these basic necessities in our car so we didn't have a problem but I totally understand that it should be at least mandatory for every room - especially if you have a head count of the people checking-in. 2. Jollibee breakfast - not that I hate Jollibee or anything but I just wished that they had a variety of options apart from the usual pancake/hotdog rice meal from Jollibee for breakfast. Also, on our 2nd day, we had problems with our breakfast - despite having told our orders the night before - yet the hotel staff

You get the Basics 👍”
Got a family room for 7pax- with 2 SC and a child. The room is comfortable to us because we are just in GF and there’s parking space for our car. It near to the city center / city hall area which is a plus. We need not worry where to eat. If there is a thing that i can suggest though, since you provide us blankets instead of comforters you may give us 1 blanket/pax. You may also add an exhaust fan in your CR. Please also position your signage in the main properly. Other than that everything is fine-you will get the basics and your money’s worth.
