Room was a bit on the small side. Bed was very firm. Door had an automatic closer that was set on “resist entry or exit and amputate anything in the way”. The toilet seat was 14”from the floor - felt like I was in an kindergarten bathroom. Light cancelling window coverings didn’t. We were on second floor and upstairs neighbor decided to let their elephants start roaming at 6AM our first night. Why they booked us under them or them over us is a mystery as there were only 15 cars in the lot and probably 100 rooms available on our side of the building. Breakfast had a good variety of the usual offerings, was clean and food tasty. Really disappointed with AGODA. I tried calling them with an issue - twice - after running the computer gauntlet was told that I was being transferred to an agent. 20 minutes of music and 15 minutes of music. I gave up and decided if my travel plans in the future involve AGODA, I will cancel them and find someone else.

The hotel was definitely not what I expected from the ad. The first room was full of smoke, so I had to request a move. The second room was OK, but had a rusty old refrigerator, old carpet, old bedding, no TV guide, no utensils, plates, cups. No hair dryer which I discovered after my shower in the morning. Breakfast was a granola bar and coffee in the lobby. The front desk individuals at check in and check out were very nice and nothing I found wrong with the establishment was their fault. The accommodations were just old and unkempt. Would definitely not recommend.

First of all, Agoda's rate was about $100 less than other sites including the hotel's site for my weeklong stay. Check-in was fine until I got to the room and realized it wasn't properly cleaned, particularly some trash left in the kitchen garbage can that stunk. The woman at the front desk apologized and immediately offered me an upgrade to one-bedroom suite with pool view, which was very clean. Rooms are VERY quiet with no noise from neighbors. The hotel is one of many recently built hotels in the area and the manager introduced himself and acknowledged they are still working out some kinks. It has a wonderful outdoor pool area and very well- equipped fitness room. They have free laundry facilities and free breakfast, which was good but could use some more variety from day to day. Also, breakfast in Gainesville with no grits? Come on! Very friendly and helpful staff open to suggestions, brand new rooms, definitely a good option to consider when visiting Gainesville.

Used to be a Holiday Inn Express for many years. Since it became HOM, the renovations are fantastic, staff is super friendly, accommodating, & helpful with a filling breakfast included as well! Booked last minute but price was still great & staff was understanding about our late night arrival for check-in & allowed some extra time at check-out. Definitely recommend staying here!
