On our trip up North (PH), we checked in to 3 different hotels. One upscale, one beach hotel, and this one. I never expected West Loch Park Hotel to be my family's favorite hotel among those I enumerated, but it did exceed our expectations. When we arrived at the gate, the friendly guard assisted us to the front desk. Had a fast check-in. When the door opened, I was impressed by the interior. :) It's relatively new (1 year this 2014), but I bet it's well maintained as compared to other hotels. The sheets and towels smell great! Even the complimentary instant coffee tasted great that we bought 2 packs for us to bring home :D The facade is not that grand, they don't have a grand staircase or a fancy hotel lobby but they have superb customer service that's worth every penny. We even got fruits (apple, bananas, orange), macadamia nuts and water compliments. They have a nice pool but too bad we didn't get to experience due to tight schedules.. The breakfast was awesome! :) And the place, just a few minutes drive from Vigan's heritage sights. It was perfect because my family had the chance to rest quietly, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. I will definitely come back, even recommend it to my friends :) Don't expect a grandiose building, just an unassuming one - but their service beats the upscale and I enjoyed our stay here so much :)

Great! Ilocos Region is a nice place...”
West Loch is the first hotel in Sto. Domingo, Ilocos Sur, about 10-15 minutes drive to Vigan City. Being not within the city, the place is quiet and relaxing. The room is well provided with all the basic things a traveler needs.. - arranged accordingly with art. It's lovely. We slept comfortably and wifi is available 24/7 in the room.

Fabulous Stay”
This was an excellent hotel. Although it was more pricey on Agoda, we chose it because of the good reviews and swimming pool. Even though it is 10 minutes from Vigan, the free shuttle van was available whenever we wanted to go. Staff were friendly and accommodated our needs. The food selection was good and the price was not expensive (although we expected it would be because of the hotel price). The food tasted great and I would happily eat there again. We loved our stay at West Loch and would definately stay again.

Comfortable Sanctuary”
Initially planned to stay close to Vigan City, but nothing available. Found West Loch Park Hotel just a few km out of town, but still very convenient. The Hotel is a cut above the average provincial style of hotel/resort in this part of The Philippines. The room was well presented, very clean and orderly, with comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom. The restaurant is nicely presented, with a good range of options available. We had dinner and breakfast there, and both meals were excellent. The pool and bar at the back is also very nice.

Modern hotel in historic region”
I needed a hotel for a group of 9 people in Vigan and I selected West Loch based on the pictures and reviews. I was very happy with the design and condition of the hotel. The rooms are spacious and modern in design. Our rate included breakfast, where we were given a choice of a wide variety of Filipino and western dishes. The hotel is right along the main highway, about 10 minutes north of the historic center of Vigan, in the next town to the north, Santo Domingo. The swimming pool is very large and a wonderful way to end the day after exploring the city. I was very happy with my stay and would stay again if I return to Vigan.

Good place for bonding!”
My sisters and nephew enjoyed our summer vacation here. It was a good place to hang out, good food, great service, nice facilities and they have a service van to drop you off to your destination. My sisters do not even want to leave the hotel as they were enjoying the pool and karaoke. Hahaha. Also, the staff helped me when I lost my credit card. And found out I actually left it at the airport. Nonetheless, it was a really good place to stay when you're in the Ilocos!

It was a pleasant stay, one of the best hotel in Ilocos, it is new, clean and all in order. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. It was quiet, a place to relax and rest.The kids enjoyed the pool. We will recommend it to our friends who frequently visits the Ilocandia.

our stay at west loch hotel was great. although it was about 10mins away from vigan proper, it was worth the travel. we were greeted by friendly & attentive staff & free juice. the room was clean & big enough for my family. there were also free fruits & macadamia nuts which you can't find in any hotel. overall, our stay was nice.

Lovely hotel. Great ambience. Attentive Staff. Good food. I loved the free Mauna Loa. Seriously. A great option for those who intend to bring their own transport to experience Vigan (as it has parking space, but is situated two towns from Vigan). Overall, a really, really great hotel.

Excellent stay. They were able to accommodate us for early check in. Very friendly staff. Value for money. Food and drinks are cheap and of big servings. Clean and comfortable rooms. Secured parking and building. Nice pool and jacuzzi area. With lots of complimentary treats we really loved! Will definitely recommend to family and friends who will go to Vigan!

We stayed here last November for a night. Here are my thoughts on this hotel: Facility - definitely 5/5. They have spacious rooms (that can fit 5 adults), a really good dining place, and a big swimming pool. Staff - another 5/5. The staff will greet you with warm smiles. They are also very accommodating to any requests. Food - 5/5. They cook and prepare food that is good for my palate. They also have wine collection at the restaurant (so another plus to me!) Location - 4/5. It is a bit far from Vigan but the whole place makes up for it. My family and I will definitely stay here again. 👍👍👍👍👌

WE BOOKED 2 QUAD ROOMS. UPON REGISTERING, THEY GAVE US WELCOME DRINKS. THE BELL BOYS ARE ATTENTIVE TO OUR NEEDS. EACH ROOM HAS GOOD AMOUNT OF SPACE, WAS VERY CLEAN & THE BATHROOM HAS BATHTUB. THE WELCOME TREATS ARE VERY GOOD (ASSORTED FRUITS & MACADAMIA NUTS IN CAN) WHEREIN THEY WERE UNEXPECTED. YOU'LL ONLY EXPECT THIS KIND OF WELCOMING IN A 5-STAR HOTEL. THE POOLS WERE ENTICING THOUGH WE WEREN'T ABLE TO SWIM BECAUSE OF PRESSED TIME. THE DOWNSIDE OF THIS HOTEL IS THAT IT'S A LITTLE FAR-OFF VIGAN. IT'S ABOUT 10KM OR 15-MINS AWAY FROM VIGAN. BUT THE RELAXATION IT GIVES IS PRICELESS.

New and Just Right”
At first, we got lost because we thought that the hotel was within the immediate Vigan area, but unfortunately it's not. We drove back to look for the hotel but thank goodness it was known to the locals and they were able to point us the exact location. Checking in is fast and we were given a very nice room but we were not granted our request to make our rooms adjacent to the other room we booked because they were assigned in another floor. We were also given complimentary fruits and drinks. The breakfast is okay but the drink is friggin' expensive! we tried our best not to avail anything from the hotel but there is no nearby restaurant. I actually don't recommend their food, find somewhere else to eat.

Excellent! The location was quite far from Vigan City but the owner himself brought and picked us up from the city center. The manager was very accommodating and articulate in dealing with us. Overall, our stay was very pleasant!

Our room is so nice and big. The free breakfast is not that exemplary. The room is not sound proof because we can hear a commotion on th other room. But eventually it stopped after an hour. Maybe because, other room mates already called the attention of the hotel staff. The eating area is not the spacious but it is still nice.

Not really in Vigan”
Disappointing because I was aiming for a hotel in Vigan but it's actually in Sto. Domingo which is about 15mins away from Vigan city but everywhere else was full and I paid a lot of money for the suite I booked. As a consolation, the room was big (should be) and quite comfortable compared to our temporary abode in pagudpud. The food was good and room was clean.
