    Affordable hôtel in good corner ”

    Frankly fortunately this hotel is in this place because to visit the beaches and the rock formations of marabut and the islets with a hopping island which are extraordinary there are only 2 or three very expensive luxury hotels or cottages for karaoke and party by the sea ... the solution with restaurant is excellent for 2 3 days

    Good place to stay for a night in Samar”

    The location is along the highway which makes it easy to navigate. The hotel has resto which you can order and eat. Overall, a nice accommodation. Thanks for letting me stay

    Too much traffic notice from the road outside to get much sleep. No wifi in room. No cellphone connection at location. Could not get signal cable TV to work in the room, so no TV

    Perfect if you are on a budget!”

    It will be hard to find a cheaper Hotel in Marabut, Samar. All the other hotels or resorts are on the beach and are therefore much more expensive. You can easily reach those places though (for dining, the beach or the pool) from the Western Highway Lodge Hotel by tricycle in about 10 min. drive. Our room, with a nice queen-size real bed was spacious, except the bathroom which was a bit narrow. The room also contained a sofa with low table, closets with hangers, some stools, a coiffeuse (table with mirror), a fan on the ceiling, aircon and a flatscreen TV (with HDML connection and even a DVD player). The staff is very friendly and helpfull and the owner was very sympathic giving us a lift back to Tacloban since it had to go there. However you have to know that the rooms are noisy, only because of the traffic, since the hotel is located in front of the road.
