Great value, great location, fabulous experience!”
This was a great place and I'd definitely go back! The staff were super friendly, the beach bar and grill were excellent quality and the whole place had a fun environment. They even have a pool, ping pong table, and a pool table on the garden side of the property. They have beach side units and garden side units. We chose garden side because it's an excellent value for your money, and it's literally only a 3 min walk to the beach. And I loved that the room had a good working AC unit. Only down side was no TV and the water pressure wasn't very good for taking showers. Also, you'll get a nice warm shower, but it never gets hot. And if you're a light sleeper like me, bring your own pillow. Their pillows aren't that great. If those things don't bother you, I DEFINITELY recommend this spot!!

Great stay at White Sands”
I really enjoyed my time at White Sands. It’s a basic hotel in a great location. If you want all inclusive 5 star service this isn’t the place for you but if you want good value, clean in a superb location I highly recommend. It has a private beach with beach chairs, great WiFi, walking distance to many restaurants, clean and hot water. Staff were mostly friendly. I would stay again if I find myself in Negril in the future.

Cheap n cheerful, BYO Beah Towel”
Rooms on both sides of road, so room choice is key. We only got one small bath towel per person and NO beach towels, so bring your own or buy one locally. Place was clean and tidy.

A lot of strange people in the hotel ”
We got sexual sexually intimidated and we heard sex sounds all through the night. We couldn't sleep. It was awful

Decent spot for the money”
There isn't a lot going on in the area but it's super close to the beach so that's nice. The food at the restaurant was good. The room was mostly nice, but did have a roach one day. And they charge you for beach towels so be sure to bring your own.

Paradise ”
Amazing little place in paradise. Clean comfortable room. We stayed on the garden side which was nice and just a walk across the street takes you to an incredible beach set up with both sun and shade and of course one of the most beautiful beaches on the planet. I will be back ;)

First of all I would like to say that all employees at this hotel are incredible! Soo nice, polite and helpful. Although the owners of the hotel really need to put money into renovating the rooms. First I stayed in a room on the right side (once you enter white sands), the walls on that side are extremely thin and you can hear every conversation, music.. everything from the other rooms. I was changed to the room on the left after that.. the sound proof was a lot better but mosquitos and cockroaches kept coming in from the balcony since the door that leads to the balcony in opened in some parts (doesn't close properly, too old). Then in my last night I barely could shower because there was only drips of water coming out.

Small paradise in Negril”
The rooms at the garden side are newer and quiter. In general the experience was great! The beach is private and they do cocktails offer every day. The reception staff were súper friendly. The lifeguard and the security man that are all day at the beach area are super rude and unfriendly. We asked them questions regarding umbrellas and hammocks and they just ignored us and showed their identity cards, meaning that they were not the right people to be asked.

White sands is beautiful small and fewla like a home away from home. They have great food and great drinks specials (cocktails mocktails, and drinks for kids as well) great food options at walking distance and the locals are always their to get you anything you need (glass bottom boats, parasailing, booby cay trips, etc.) My second time there and will definitely return
