We love our stay here. Staffs are all courteous. Pools are clean and not crowded. Food’s great as well. Even the elevator looks and smells clean.

I've stayed at the Lagoon for many years now, and was worried during China's global virus situation over the past couple of years if everything was going to go to hell forever...Well I can honestly report that my stay here last week was almost like days past, better in some ways as the pool and facilities was less crowded and chaotic, which I like. The room and facilities were clean and staff was welcoming and awesome as always. So all I can say is my covid fears are dead now, and its great to be back!

The rooms are spacious and clean. Fast check in and check out considering that there was an event in the area. Location is near Walking Street so it's close to clubs, establishments, and malls, a really good option for those who are looking for fun night out with friends.

Time for a refresh”
The hotel has been closed due to Covid restrictions. 5he main pool was green, the rooms are tired and the paintwork is flaking and worn. The staff were great but this hotel is no longer the place to go, it is dropping downtrend list and so it needs a refresh.

First time back here since covid, stayed in a lagoon room, which are starting to become a little dated. My laptop is bigger than the tv in these rooms, and the shower could do with an updated head. A few small changes could make all the difference. I never eat at the restaurant , but doubt it has changed. Of course the main reasons for staying here are the 2 pools and location.

Sad decline. Have stayed here regularly over 15 years now but this time likely to be last. 1- Out of their control but a new restobar next door has an excruciating loud band that keeps even heavy sleepers awake to 3am. Somewhat akin to somebody disembowelling a cat. 2- Staff used to be both pleasant and efficient and indeed the old faces still are. Unfortunately many are now downright surly and aggressive. Cleaner told me that it was my duty to vacate room from 10am to 6pm for her to clean at her leisure. Aircon continually dropped out especially through the night. After overwhelming indifference from front desk I just restarted it myself 3 to 4 times through the night while being entertained by said band. On checkout front desk tried to get me to sign a dodgy receipt with someone elses details whited out on all copies????. There just does not seem to be a firm guiding hand over the staff which was the case previously. 3- Menu now tired and indifferent

Inconvenient: transferred rooms 3x”
Was given an occupied room 2x. (503-507-511) First encounter, the room has stuff in it when we entered. Second encounter, when we exited the room, foreigners approached us it was their friend's room who's still otw to the hotel that's why it's vacant at that time Shower head kinda broken, one spout was pointed towards the door, causing water to enter/flood the cr AND bedroom (shower head is attached to the ceiling) Pillow from closet looks old/haven't replaced in a long time (looks yellowish, actually most bed stuff) Room took too long to feel cold, wrong position of aircon I guess, above the door and beside cr, the wall of cr beside the bed blocks the air from reaching the bed (turned it on around 11pm at max setting, got cold only in the morning around 8am, with the ceiling fan on)

Wonderful Location and beautiful grounds”
Wild orchid Lagoon resort is centrally located in Angeles City, so you are close to the action. The hotel grounds are simply beautiful and immaculately cared for. The resort has a huge swimming pool and the balcony room I had provided a great view overlooking the pool. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Angeles City.

Better than more expensive alternatives”
I have stayed on business number of times in Angeles/Clark. Most often I have stayed at more expensive places. I was very pleasantly surprised by the Wild Orchid Lagoon. The room was more than adequate and the facilities superior in my view, to those other places. I was a little frustrated by the Wi-Fi from time to time in my room, but it was largely a small matter. Many of the staff were quite delightful. This always makes a great deal of difference. I will certainly stay here again.
